A very nice hotel overlooking Ibiza harbour & the Cathedral on the hill. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable about the sights to visit on this beautiful island especially the fabulous sunset in a secluded part of the island. Nice cafes & restaurants are a walk along the hotel beachfront & takes you near the lighthouse & sea. Hiring a car arranged by the hotel is very useful for touring the island & the many beautiful sights. Comprehensive car cover is available. The choice of food at breakfast & dinner is very good. On certain nights , Latin American music is played & is very enjoyable to dance to. Transfers to & from the hotel should be arranged.

Room Tip: Although we didn't get a seaview, the room was spacious enough for two friends to share.

Absolutely lovely hotel. I have read some previous 'poor' reviews and, to be honest, don't know what they are on about as we could hardly fault the hotel at all.

All of the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, with a variety of choices for breakfast and dinner (we didn't have lunch as we 'skip' this meal on holiday). There was also the option for a buffet dinner on an evening and this was excellent value for money (20 Euros for 3 courses).

The rooms were really clean and - unlike another reviewer - I DO NOT think they need updating. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. Free toiletries were provided and we were also very grateful for the free soft drinks in the room fridge.

If your budget can stretch to it, I would recommend booking a room with a sea view.

The only thing I didn't like, was being surrounded by cigarette smokers in both the Restaurant and Bar areas when guests were dining (not much fun trying to enjoy your food when cigarette smoke - and odour - is wafting into your face).

A taxi to the Town Centre cost approximately 10 Euros which was also value for money and I would recommend a trip or two there, if only to sit and marvel at the yachts/private cruisers!

Overall, great staff a great hotel - I would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, opt for a sea view

We booked here as we love Talamanca as it's so near to everything but peaceful at the same time. From the website images this hotel looks quite nice and even when you first arrive it looks okay too, unfortunately this illusion is shattered the minute you open the door to your room! The bedroom itself is very very dated and worst of all the mattresses on the beds are cheap and nasty on top of being very old with springs sticking out of them, VERY uncomfortable. The bathroom is also dated with a smelly shower curtain and a mixer unit that goes from cold to scalding hot about 20 times during a shower, just nowhere near good enough for a supposed 4-star hotel.
The good points are that the view was fantastic, the breakfast was good and the staff were nice and helpful, if not a bit overly attentive at breakfast... (your plate would be whipped away the second you finish)
We won't be going back here until they have done a refurbishment, there are other hotels in this area which are in the same price bracket and look much more comfortable.
P.S. i have a good idea of what i'm talking about as i Project Manage hotel refurbishments for a living!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the bay are the best for the view.

Terrible noises from the bar area were audible in my room, which was also next to the elevator so the noises from the elevator moving up and down, in addition to the noises from the people in the hallway and upstairs added up to a bad experience. Rooms were average, nothing special. Staff was not very friendly, even rude at times and did not seem to care much about my comfort.

The only thing noteworthy was the view and location of the hotel. Away from most of the crowd at the end of boardwalk of sorts. Good breakfast buffet. Lots and lots of elderly and middle aged Europeans drinking beer, smoking and playing cards..

Room Tip: away from the stairs & elevator - facing the ocean.
