You don't have to be a cat lover to appreciate this place. Jungle Cat World not only has every cat at its facility (behind an enclosure that ALL can see), but they have other wonderful creatures as well.
You will never have to 'guess' what's behind the fence and try to look through some trees...the animals are in plain sight. You can practically touch them!
The best time to go is around 12:30 as their feeding time begins shortly after that and is very educational. Its interesting to see the interaction between the staff and the animals.
There are goats, bunnies, geese, dear, peacocks and even a donkey roaming around freely that you can feed and pet. They have wolves, monkies, lemurs too.
I have been to JCW about 3 times now and will certainly go back. Its fun, never too crowded and very informative.

This place was amazing! We got to play with a tiger cub, and a lynx and hyena pups. Definitely an experience of a lifetime. I would recommend it to any animal lover. You get to be up close and personal with the animals, and they are so friendly and playful! I will definitely be a return visitor!

My wife took our two boys here and said it was dirty and run down looking. She said she will not return.

Jen and the others were just so knowledgeable and accomodating! I had a great time with them on the feeding rounds, Jen was the one got to pet everyone.lol The Behind The Scenes is a great experience and I would reccomend it to everyone. Just the close proximity to the largest cats as well as some smaller animals is a fantastic experience. One has to watch out for the rogue geese and the visious rabbits!lol The chicken was the funniest and most unexpected guest. The regal Peacocks strutting about also added to the surreal suroundings.
Watching a 600 pound Tiger play with and old plastic drum was also a highlight! Big kitty cat toys.
Getting up close to the Tiger and touching the Wolf! Just like our pets at home. The Lemurs were a little reluctant to outside in the cold, but I got to have one on my shoulder and now I know a Lemur when I see one!

This was one of the most wonderful and memorable experiences of my life. If you are going to make the trip, PLEASE spend the extra money to do the behind the scenes tour. You WILL NEVER REGRET IT! Though at a slightly high price ($100) you have to understand that this does include free admission to the park for the rest of the day ($25 value), and the remainder of the money ($75) is a charitable donation to a fund that cares for endangered species, and allows others to have an unbelievable experience like this in their lives. This is no hoax, there are no tricks here, my friends and I were petting, scratching, and taking pictures with a full grown Lynx, Arctic wolf, and baby cougar. There is a knowledgable attendant present with you at all times, that holds the leash, and answers any questions that you may have about each animal. If you are looking for an UNBELIEVABLE experience, you need not look any further than jungle cat world. The softest fur, friendly people, and amazing animals makes this place unforggetable. We will be back very soon. And then again, and again, and again..
