The hotel was one of the best we have been to for wonderful service. From the girls on the desk, the waiters, down to the staff who were forever cleaning. The food was good and plentiful.Having your own beach with sun lounger was an additional bonus. Also the staff there were golly and helpful. One disadvantage you need a car if you wish to visit the island.

Atlantis Palace Hotel in Mascali, Sicilia - it was perfect vacation from 19th July to 2nd August, 2017. We would like to thank to hotel´s workers, especially we want to thank to Nelly (reception), Ivan (restaurant) and Sandra (beach). BR, Pakosta family (Hana and Jaroslav) from Czech Republic.

Room Tip: Rooms with view to Etna are the best.

It was on short notice & only for 1 night, the place was fully booked except for 1 room which took. The air conditioning did not work, the floors in the room were very dirty . To be fair the pool area looked very nice and the pizza from the restaurant by the pool makes fantastic pizza. I'm not upset that we only stayed 1 night

I 've returned in Sicily on May and this time I went up to province but ever close to the sea.
So I read TripAdv. reviews about this place and I say to myself, Hell I've to get into this Hotel.
Excellent overall.
From the Welcome Hall, preceded by a large and highly cured parking area, quick reception, fine service for room, great bar and awesome pizza for dinner.
The town is a bit wild but I managed to have some sport relaxing by walking over the shoreline and reaching closest villages in this route.
This is the kind of place that you cannot forget and are a must for a travel in Oriental Sicily.

Room Tip: No need of suggestions , really !

The cheapest way to get from the airport to the hotel is by emailing the hotel and asking them to arrange it.
Hotel - the front of the hotel looks run down but, once you get past it, the hotel is excellent. The pool area at the back is particularly attractive and everything is ultra clean.
Pool - there are 2 pools. The lifeguard is a young lady and she works hard to make sure that everyone is happy, and all the areas are kept clean. I forgot to ask her name, but she was amazing.
Room - spotless and our balcony had a view of Mt Etna.
Food - we were on half board and enjoyed every meal. Mario makes sure that everything works smoothly and our thanks also to Orazio for looking after our table.
Reception - Nothing was a problem for these ladies. At one point we couldn't get a taxi back to the hotel from the train station. In the end, we phoned the hotel reception and a taxi arrived in just 10 minutes. Many thanks again.
Beach - the beach is spotless and the hotel has a private area. The staff are excellent and we spent most evenings having cocktails there.
Outside - the nearest town is about a mile walk away, but there is nothing much to visit. The local area is run down with many buildings up for sale. Best to visit during the day, as there are very few pavements and it may be a bit tricky in the dark. Great base for day trips.

All in all we had a great family holiday and many thanks to the hotel for making it so enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony with a view of Mt Etna.
