This is one of those breathtaking spots you can find so often in Northern Spain that probably you haven´t heard much of, especially if you are a foreigner. So I guess the Hermida Gorge might sound a bit more familiar for you. Well, Hermida is not very far from here: Beyos is just at the other side -the western side- of the Picos de Europa mountain range and is equally impressive. Beyos will be a hidden gem for you if you are into northern landscapes with steep mountains and a lovely green countryside. You´ll get impressive views when driving down leisurely the winding national road that stretches from Cangas to Riaño crossing all the gorge. Beside that, this is not just a passing place. There are many spots to explore, many mountain trails and a few charming hotels around. This is an ideal place to wind down for a while, away from the daily hustle, enjoying its natural beauty.
