This is probably one of the best Spas in Spain, their is a chain of 3, soon to be 4 when the new one is finished. Ive stayed at this one and Olmedo and both are absolutely amazing. The Spa is an incredible experience with a circular glass dome covering the roof and the Spa room with colour changing lights making it an impressive view at night.
The Spa has tons of room and water spurts at all levels.
The hotel itself is very nice inside, with a massive open space to sit and enjoy peace time, reading or just chilling.
The food is also high quality, breakfast is very diverse with basically everything you would ever want, and the lunch, dinner meal options are stunning.
Don't look any further and give it a try, you won't be disappointed, believe me I have all of my Spanish partners family visiting the place now :-)

Room Tip: All rooms are great, we always get the same room when we re-book

You come upon a building with a medieval facade and enter a very modern, well designed hotel. The front exterior has the XV century facade of the Santa Catalina University. Inside is a central patio where you can read the newspaper, have a drink, coffee, etc. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and the spa was well thought out and enjoyable.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor so there was a skylight window as well as a small window looking out from the wall.

We left Madrid believing we had a reservation at the hotel and found out they did not confirm way into our trip. This was quite disappointing and denotes a lack of coordination between their administration and booking sites. Nonetheless, they were very accommodating to welcome us at their spa which we did visit. The installations are top notch, all very clean- just a ted noisy for a relaxing spot. We did the 90 minute contrast circuit and felt a bit constrained to their timing- as spa pros, 90 minutes for a dry sauna and a turkish bath with some "hot and cold dips" seemed a bit too much, but we could not leave to the pool are when we felt we were done. Someone else was minding our time of relaxation and that was a bit annoying. Having said that, for those who can stand 35 minutes of sauna and steam bath, with one hour of "stuff" in between, this is your spot! Quite lovely...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Termal while visiting El Burgo de Osma while visiting our daughter who is working in El Burgo de Osma for the year. The hotel is historic and beautiful, impressive. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with loads of fresh fruit. Most of all the staff were wonderful! They were friendly, bilingual, helpful with directions and allowed us to check out quite a bit after the usual check out time. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We recommend a visit to El Burgo de Osma!

What a view did we encounter as we entered this old, dramatic building! Surrounded by several floors of arches, the center of the floor is a window to the spa below, ensconced in ancient rooms. We slept in a lovely, comfortable room, which supplied ample towels, a swimming cap, and bath products that were used in the spa and sold in full size containers as well.
My friend, who made the reservation, as she was taking me through traditional Spain, was loath to have me write this review, lest the prices rise too high...
I cannot think of a better use for an abandoned university.
If you visit a fine food store in town, look for the cheese made with "cardo" a type of thisle unique to northern Portugal and Spain. If unfamiliar with this cheese, ask how it is consumed as well. It is unique and an ancient tradition.

Room Tip: See above. Also, this is a very typical Spanish old fashioned town. Prices both for stay and treatments are surprisingly reasonable. And the place is a real Wow.
