The hotel is lovely with an intimate feel. Communal areas have been updated and the rooms were fine as well. Facilities are good, the staff friendly and the location excellent - being less than 5 minute stroll to the main seafront. Pool area is very pleasant although the pool is unheated and thus fairly bracing - the kids found it too cold to spend much time in which had the bonus of forcing us down to the lovely beaches in Calella. Wifi was free but slow and the breakfast was typically uninspiring although all the elements were there. Hotel was very clean and they have worked hard with some nice touches to make it feel boutique-like. A warm pool would have gained that last elusive star!

The hotel is easy to find. The building is not stunning at all, but once you got in you'll be pleased. Our room was ok, except for the fact that one door of the shower box was missing.. And here it comes the fun part.. No one warned us about that, neither on when the box would be fixed. So, next morning I came back to my room and surprise.. Two men working in my bathroom. Next time concierge better arranges the schedule with the guest!! Move on to another issue: WiFi. It didn't work in my room so anytime I had to check emails I had to sit in the lobby.. TV didn't work as well and no explanation given! Room wasn't sound proof at all.. I must admit though that the kitchen was fantastic, staff was (almost) well prepared and the location of the hotel is great.. In 3 mins walking I was by the little cute port!

From the moment we got in it was clear that we will enjoy our stay. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming. Rafa at the resturant made sure we had a great experience and the staff at the bar took care of our needs including getting us medicine.

Stopped at this hotel for two nights b&b on route to the UK travelling through ugh Spain and France.
We have two dogs and this hotel offers a pet friendly room basis.
The staff I have to say are fantastic, nothing is too much bother for them and they are multi lingual.
The room we had was very clean and tidy but was one of a few with no balcony and overlooked the car park which was useful if you like to keep an eye on your car, car parking was secure with a barrier operated system and cctv and complimentary.
Breakfasts were of a good standard with bacon and eggs on offer, along with continental style or fruits, yogurts etc, overall a nice place to stay with a fantastic pool for adults and small children too and adequate space to relax in.
The only let downs were the wifi and tv reception in the room. Both were inadequate at times but in the main reception area both were spot on.
A great place to stay, one I would recommend and one I shall return to given the chance with or without pets.
The local area is also beautiful and the hotel is a short 10 minutes walk to the coastal area where a variety of cafes and restaurants are located along with some beautiful sandy beaches. Give this area a try if your nearby, well worth it.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a longer road trip. The bar / restaurant areas are tastefully decorated and the gardens are lovely with the fragrance of roses greeting you. We upgraded to a room overlooking the sea, which we felt was worth it. The breakfast was the best we'd had on our trip - wide choice of fresh produce. But most importantly the staff were excellent - from reception, to breakfast staff and housekeeping. It was very early in the season, so sometimes you get a reduced attention to detail, but not here. Great service delivered with a smile.
