A good choice of ice cream or frozen yogurt options & portion sizes.
We’ve been to plenty of strawberry farms & this seems to be the best!

My family and I enjoyed the strawberry farm picking activity during December and thought that the entry price was worth the trip. The gardens are well kept and clean although the strawberries were a little small for the picking but we overheard conversations that the weather had contributed to this. Toilet and cafe facilities are provided. Delicious strawberry desserts can be purchased also. Nice family and outdoor activity. A great touch was the clean buckets and plastic that was provided to pick the strawberries.

We started by going strawberry picking and were told that there weren't many berries because of bad weather and would have to hunt to find them. The reality was that there were plenty of strawberries but they were very small (so lots of pips for a small amount of fruit) however they were sweet and far more flavorful than the grocery store bought strawberries. I'd recommend strongly being prepared to be in the sun for an hour or more if you want to get your 1kg allowance.

We finished by enjoying an ice cream at their cafe. Admittedly, our ice cream wasn't nearly as big as the photos but it did taste great and was a very nice reward after being in the sun. However, their cafe only has outdoor seating and none of it is covered. So after picking strawberries in the sweltering sun, there wasn't anywhere to really sit and enjoy the ice cream which was very disappointing. In the end, we ate our ice cream as fast as we could so that we could rush back into the car and blast the air-conditioning.

I have no idea how someone has not had a serious crash at this location - the road is diabolical with cars pulling out into traffic on a State Highway - parking to obscure driver view with people just walking around with young children on the road. Madhouse doesn't go anywhere near describing this place and what is even worse they are not the only business in the area to provide fresh fruit icecream. This is not a relaxing location for icecream or fruit picking nor a safe location to visit with children. My advice is go to another location that has safe entry and exit - there are many options nearby. This place seriously needs to revise how best to service their customers safety concerns - the crazy atmosphere totally distracts from the product offered.

Terrible service and attention from staff not one of them looked happy to be there , paid for a show size and looked nothing like the picture when questioned staff they just replied with a sad attitude as if they really never wanted to be there. Looks nice from road but nothing like mangere ice creams. Staff need to smile .
