We walked to Lola’s from the JW Marriott, about a 15-20 minute walk on the beach. Sat under lots of shade trees and got to see Lola the pig- that’s one BIG pig. Great mojitos and the ceviche is awesome. Very laid back and casual and a perfect spot to watch the surfers catch waves.

While staying a week in Tamarindo, my husband and I heard from a local surf instructor that it was worth the drive to visit Lola's, and he was right. It's a cute beach front place, open for lunch, with lots of tables under the trees, even a covered place in case of rain. The beach has a lot of rocks, but we did see a couple of surfers, who knew what they were doing and where to surf. The service was great, food and drinks were also great, we just had wine and beer, can't really go wrong with that. We also had the fish and shrimp tacos, both were good but I liked the fish best. And so fun to see Lola, the resident pig- she's so big!! Would definitely go back again.

It may be a little hard to find Lolas but you'll be glad you did! We had the most delicious mahi-mahi tacos and fish with chips. Christian, our waiter gave us exceptional customer service. He made us feel like we were his only guest even though he had several tables. It's located on a beautiful beach with black and beige sand.
