Just back from another lovely break away from it all in this cottage. The owners are lovely and the cottage is just ideal for relaxing.
Charming and cosy cottage, full of history and character. Situated in an amazing location, across the road from a gorgeous Sandy beach and around the corner from the coastal path. The cottage caters for all your needs and great for dogs, ours lived the garden.
Llwynon is a fantastic cottage, traditional and cosy and a great base for exploring the coast and beaches of West Wales. The cottage is well equipped with pretty much everything you could need, is very near both the beach and local amenities including the pub. The garden at the rear is fully enclosed and was ideal for our small dog. A bottle of red wine and fresh Welsh Cakes greeted us and tea coffee and milk were all present to set us on our way as were the initial supplies of logs kindling and coal for the open fire, which was a new experience for us and something we thoroughly enjoyed. Access to the coastal path and walks to Tresaith and Penbryn was easy. The setting made for a really relaxing holiday and we would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone planning to visit the area.
Full of character, this 17th century fisherman's cottage has some unique features, such as the teeny steep staircase that has a knotted rope to help you haul yourself up! The upstairs has low ceilings and small windows, but it seems to enhance the cosiness of the bedrooms.
There is an open fire downstairs although the cottage has efficient electric heating in every room. The owners leave an initial supply of firewood, and you can buy more at the local shop.
The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom is modern with a bath and a great walk-in shower.
If you wanted, you could leave your car parked in the cottage space all week, because within easy walking distance are shops (general store, hardware, chemist, hairdresser), pub restaurants, takeaways, playground and beaches.
The garden is large and secure for dogs and children.
Warm and cosy 4 day break with old friends. Location is great near to beach, shop, pub, take away and beautiful coastal path to Tresaith and Penbryn. Very well equipped and everything packed into a small space. The garden is also well equipped with bar b q and loungers, also safe for dogs and children.
We were very cosy with the open fire in the evenings and enjoyed visits to Aberaron and Cardigan. Maggie and Barry are easy to communicate with and welcomed us with wine and welsh cakes. We'll definitely come back. Thank you.
The location of this cottage is exceptional for beach lovers and with good takeaways and restaurants nearby to finish the day. A lovely cosy cottage we would visit again
Beautifully furnished and very well equipped old cottage. We loved the fresh flowers, wine and welsh cakes on arrival. Both ourselves and our dog enjoyed the lovely secure long back garden, with it's comfortable sun loungers. When we were there the bluebells and lilac in the garden were in full fragrant bloom. Close to the beach and coastal path. Private parking on site. We hope to return.
