Description: WAITING TIMES. All our food is freshly cooked to order using quality ingredients. Nothing is held in a Bain Marie, a hot cupboard or produced from plastic bags. Consequently cooking times are longer than some establishments and we would ask for your patience when waiting for food during busy periods. We believe that the wait is well worth it when the food arrives. Lynne, John and Hannah

We stopped here after we found out the MTB trail centre wasn't doing hot food. The appearance is a typical cafe but don't be fooled into thinking it is. The menu choice is big and the food is just amazing. Three of us had the burgers and all agreed they were possibly the best we have ever eaten. All local produce and very well cooked. Staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. They even heat your cup before pouring your espresso which so many "posh" places don't! Would seriously recommend to anyone passing and especially after spending riding for 4 hours on the trails! We will definitely return.

On our way back home from holiday we had promised ourselves a Red Kite Café breakfast...Wonderful!.

This time there was five of us and we all had a really good, well cooked breakfast with a cheery waitress to serve us. The food is excellent and freshly cooked and lots of it, especially the full Welsh.

The breakfast menu is varied and fairly priced, and the menu for other meals is very good.

We were disappointed about 10 days previously on arrival, after leaving home at about 6-30am and looking forward to a Red Kite feast, to be met on the carpark by a very apologetic gentlemen telling us that a thunder storm in the early hours had taken the electricity and they were unable to provide meals. We just had to call back on the way home as we had so looked forward to our breakfast.

I have just spent a great weekend in the area visiting a relative and to top it off I have had two great meals at the Red Kite Cafe , the food was really great well cooked and well presented it's no wonder it is so busy.
The staff are well mannered and very polite and nothing is too much for them.
I have been a chef for 35years and I know good food when I taste it keep up the good work and I'll be back next time I'm in the area

Travelling from Liverpool to Cardigan we decided to stop at the Red Kite Cafe, for lunch and to break the journey. We sat and waited for a waitress, who on her way past our table said ' I will be with you in a second' she said this twice on passing! We waited for over 10 minutes and eventually another lady came asked if we had given her order, No , we hadn't . She took our order and said she would check to see how long it would be, and returned to tell us it would be at least 20 minutes. Needless to say we refused and left to continue our journey and stopped in Aberystwyth for some needed food Fuel !
Having passed this cafe several times in the past I will continue to do so in the future. Very poor show !!
