My daughter and I stayed in room 5, a twin room. It was beautiful, immaculately clean and spacious. There was no bath but an amazing double shower with great water pressure. Handwash & soap were provided. The kettle was clean and tea, coffee & uht milk provided. Bed linen was clean and soft, mattress was the best I've ever slept on. TV has freeview but no dvd player. Couple of negatives.... Entrance door is shared between two rooms and is noisy when people try to open it (lock was a bit stiff) and lakeside coffee shop (for breakfast) doesn't open til 0830 (Saturday) and 0930 (Sunday) so I felt that was a bit late. These are minor things and overall I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend others to stay. I only paid £55 for the room each night and feel that, compared to others locally, that is an excellent price. Payment in full was taken upon arrival.

Enjoyed freshly made tea and coffee. Lovely setting by lake. Garden centre nothing special but the grandchildren love feeding the ducks and fish and walking round the lake
Goats. Hens. Donkeys and Shetland ponies there too. Nice to spend an hour or so on a nice day sitting by the lake or in the cafe.

We had eaten at the restaurant before and always enjoyed it. This visit was for a friends wedding, the day was excellent the staff where very friendly and polite and ensured everything went to plan. We had no complaints the food was good quality and the accommodation modern clean and comfortable. It was a nice venue for the wedding.

Lovely setting ,log cabin overlooking duck pond , quite cramped small tables but we go regularly with a wheel chair and manage. We go for breakfast lots of choice and good coffees , they also do afternoon teas which look very nice , lots of home made cakes

Our daughter's wedding in the function room and staying over in the motel rooms were both excellent and we could not speak highly enough of the service, food and comfort of the facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful and it was an inspired choice for a wedding venu.

Room Tip: Ask for the new rooms.
