We'd visited the Fortezza at Radicofani on a previous trip to Tuscany - it has changed a bit. There were lots more people there (might have been because it was a Saturday) and the grounds of the Fortezza itself had been cleared with a bar and grill now onsite.
There are great views from the fort which is perched on a hill and is visible from all quarters. You can see out towards Monte Amiata and the Val d'Orcia. It is possible to climb to the top of the tower for an even better view (and a breeze), from where you can see Lago di Bolsena to the south along with even more of the stunning views for 360 degrees. Each of the floors of the well preserved main fort has information boards about the construction and history, as well as some of the artefacts that have been found close by. There is also a story about a local Robin Hood type character called Ghino di Tacco (has a piazza named after him in the village) who did the rob from the rich give to the poor thing.
It's a nice place to wander round to admire the fort as well as the views.
