“Great house with flaws”
Reviewed September 13, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The place had not been properly cleaned for our arrival; owner was told....he promised to send someone to clean -no one came-; he promised to phone back to check-he didn't. The place is really well equipped and spacious but the garden was a mess-- junk and dog poo.

The house was cleaned by a new cleaner and apparently she forgot to empty a flower vase. The dog poo may have been there pets as I always clean garden. Rubbish in the garden may have been branches which were chooped down before I left and keft to dry before burning.
Not excuses I will ensure in future the standards are maintained.

“Very comfortable and quiet”
Reviewed July 17, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

House was very roomy and comfortable. Having the downstairs room was good as my mother has mobility problems although beds were too low and soft for the older person. Ronnie warmly welcomed us and left us with some useful tips about the area and eating. Would definitely recommend the Plaice and Thyme for eating. Travelled around the area as we had a car, which is highly recommended.
