From first arriving to this place, the parking is horrendous if you have a big car. Very tight due to the brick wall been built, no consideration to customers.
Rust, mould and cracked sink is all we saw on arriving into the building, which was a health hazard to ones health.
Never slept there, refused to! Back garden is overlooked, grass has many patches in my opinion animals have been in the property. We left wheezy, so unclean and something was not right in the place.
Would not recommend. Have stayed many places but this was just horrible.
This was the property that had everything, we lacked nothing-all appliances, Wi Fi good parking in a pleasant suburb of Leeds.
I was concerned when I first Google Earthed it-the first image showed a part tinned up Derelict Office Building up for sale, the Coach House was in the grounds in what looked like a building site-the image was dated 2009.Further views revealed newer images, like those in Trip Advisor.
When we arrivedThere was a new house at the back of the Coach House, the sad former offices had been converted back to a fine dwelling house, the home of the owner, who greeted us on arrival.
The conversion on the Coach House was first class and so roomy with first class fixtures and fittings including a TV set bigger than my own.
A Welcome basket containing Tea Coffee Chocolate and biscuits awaited in the kitchen and Toiletries in the bathroom.
The property appeared to have everything.
We had come back to Leeds for a family wedding.
I visited Gildersome in the early 60s and I remember the Shoddy mill which made army uniform cloth and the large scrapyard.
I could not believe the charming and quiet village it has become. The Fish and Chip shop was as awesome as ever.
The Indian Restaurant was brilliant. We went twice, the second time with my wife's brother and his wife.
A pub 1/4 mile away made it perfect.
This ones a keeper.
We'll be back.
The Coach House was perfect for a recent family visit with my husband. Jo has thought of everything her visitors will need and we had a very comfortable stay. The location is great for visiting several attractions in the area as it's close to the motorway network (although the accommodation is quiet). There is a shop and restaurant within walking distance and many more within a short drive. To be honest, I was happy just to stay in the lounge and watch the squirrels and birds in the garden as it was so comfy!
This is a truly amazing place. A real home from home feel. Never booking a hotel again as this has converted us!
Hosts were lovely and the house had everything you could think of. Board games, takeaway menus, tea and biscuits, towels, DVD's..everything!
Really cosy and wish we were staying longer.
Spotlessly clean too!
The location is very convenient, just off the motorway junction with easy access to M62. The House location is at a quiet suburb, with a co-op store and pharmacy just two minutes down the road.
Good size bedroom although not ensuite, bath room is downstairs with both a shower cubicle and a full-size bath, Jo had provided all the toiletry and towels for us.
The lounge is spacious with a small dining table for four people. There is a very large sofa for relaxing and watching TV. It also coverts to a bed for two more guests.
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your own meals, more importantly for us a washer for the laundry and a dish washer.
Off street parking is available, so your car is secured; a very well-appointed garden allows you to sit outside and enjoy the sun with garden furniture on the patio.
A very good stay at the Coach House, highly recommended for staying in this area to explore around Leeds and Yorkshire.
This place is a gem, well located for the motorways too. It's comfortable, clean, and has almost everything you might need. The only recommendations I might make is to fix a dimmer switch for the lights in the front room and maybe consider installing an upstairs loo where the clothes hanger is.
We came down for a wedding and the location of the cottage was perfect. Everything was provided for us and the welcome pack was a really nice touch. The owner Jo was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our restful week and would definitely come back again.
