We stayed for two nights whilst visiting friends in malmesbury.
The owner, Chris, is trying to reinvent the hotel and working extremely hard to carry out the refurb.
One thing that isn’t missing is his dedication and commitment to the task, the staff are terrific and very friendly towards everyone, locals and strangers alike.
The food is first class, well presented and really tasty.
It’s a quirky hotel which has a chequered history, doctors surgery, Bernie Inn, if you can remember them? to what it is today.
It caters for the community by having the post office in part of the building as well as a small shop/cafe.
Don’t expect the Ritz but do expect a warm welcome, fine food and a very friendly host.
Thanks Chris, we had a lovely weekend.
