Stayed here 8 nights. Based on reviews thought it was going to be far out of town...its not. It is a very short walk into town and to the beach. The resort itself is hilly so you get some exercise walking around, but its pretty and pleasant. Two really good local restaurants right down the hill...Sweet and Sour is the best...cute family owned and great food.
Rooms are really nicely done and have everything you need.
Fantastic gym, kept spotless, with a great view.
Breakfast was amazing. I am mostly vegan and it had everything: veggie sushi, a whole section of three vegetarian dishes. They also have noodle soup and you can ask for a veggie version. All great!
Oct in the dining room is fantastic and so helpful...her badge said trainee but I thought she was running the place (perhaps she should be!). Joy, Tor and Joe and in the Mango bar were also great to deal with. Everyone we encountered was nice and helpful.
The only downside was wi fi...it was really fast the first few days then as the resort filled up it slowed down to a crawl. But otherwise a great stay.More
