Awesome museum, should be advertised more as we didn't know it existed. Would highly recommend a visit. Free to visit as well.

Guys, this is a great experience. Treat your young ones to a couple of hours o up close and personal with real jet fighters and real war heroes.
Pam and I took our two grandkids here and they loved it. Our four year old was intrigued by all the mechanics and the stories of the men who flew the aircraft.
The hands-on stuff was great and was a good way of showing the intricacies of flying aircraft.
We thoroughly recommend this museum. Make sure you give a decent donation guys. It is free, but needs support from the community.

Such a great place to visit. The museum was spotless, well thought out and easy to navigate around. Very informative and all exhibits were in great condition. There was no charge for entry just a donation. Well worth a visit.

I am more into ww2 aircraft but I still enjoyed looking at the planes here and the models of the ships were so interesting. All the aircraft are beautifully restored. Plenty of information about them.

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this large collection of exhibits. I did not expect to enjoy this aviation display as much as I did. We went on a Thursday afternoon and for most of our slow walk through we were the only visitors- perfect COVID19 tourist conditions! The dressed mannequins were posed quite realistically and I looked twice a couple of times! ….. and it is free entry! The cafe facilities were not operating on our visit but overlook the adjacent busy airfield.
