We are a couple and stayed for a week in room16. I would thoroughly recommend these apartments. They were cleaned everyday and the facilities were great. We'll definitely be back. The walk into alykes took about 10-15 mins along a fairly quiet road. Also it's only another 20-15 into Alykanas. Loads of lovely restaurants.

I can honestly say I have never written a review before, but after staying here I have to! My fiancé and I booked this as a last minute holiday for a week of relaxing (and post operation week away for myself) mainly based open the fantastic reviews and the fantastic price and we were not disappointed.

Jimmy and his whole family are amazing! So welcoming and just the loveliest people. They do a thousand things at once but still seem to have time for you whether it's a chat or a quick hello!

We were given a room with the most beautiful view which was awesome to wake up to every morning.

A gentlemen had a diabetic fit on our last day and Jimmy, his sister and his mother were right over to assist and called the paramedics etc. and made sure he was okay and reassure the other guests that were around the pool without making a scene. They just genuinely seem to care about their guests.

While the rooms are basic, it doesn't matter because it's all you need; and the relaxing atmosphere and friendly attitude of ALL staff and guests more than make up for it.

The beach and main restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away but we spent most of our days around the chilled out pool and tasty bar areas.

It was my first time in Greece but will not be my last. Myself and my fiancé will definitely be back.

We have just got back from a week at the Alykes garden village Zante, and what a chilling relaxing week we had.
We got to the hotel about 10ish at night and were welcomed by a very friendly Jimmy. We were shown to our room on the ground floor and it was a nice size with twin beds and sofa and a basic kitchen area, a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is pretty basic with a fridge, toaster and a two ring hob. I know it is self catering but no tea towels or dishcloths are provided and who thinks about taking those kind of things. The beds were comfortable enough and you get a wardrobe and a few drawers for cloths. We had the safe and air conditioning that were 91 euros for the week which we felt was rather excessive but hey with the price of the holiday he has to make his money some how. Jimmy and Soula were lovely and Mum and Theo always made us feel welcome. Someone was taken ill while we were there and Jimmy was amazing , took control in a worrying time and got the Drs and ambulance there in record time. If you want anything ask Jimmy, yes they all shout but you're in Greece not in a library . The pool is lovely and never once did we not get a sun bed. We ate at the pool bar at lunch time that has a varied menu at not a silly price, a cheese burger was 5 euros a tuna roll 5.90 euros and portion of chips about 3 euros, guess depending on the exchange rate is why some people found it expensive. All the food is fresh, home made, cooked to order and whenever possible home grown. Now the Oscar bar and we can say is Nancy Nancy Nancy she is lovely and you have to meet her to really understand. Happy hour is between 7 and 9 when 2 Amstels are 5 euros. They have Karaoke on a Monday (I know but even we got up it must be the measures of Vodka that did it). Alykes is about 10 minutes down the road and about 20 back up again depending on how much Ouzo you have drunk but just jump on one of the horse and carriage and they will take you back up, OK 10 euros is a bit of a luxury but you have to do it once. We both had a great time and would definitely go again.
