Quite disappointing. Room smelled stuffy and damp.
The food in the restaurant was variable and expensive. The starters were ok but the main course (wild pigeon)was greasy, heavy and old fashioned. The cheeseboard was one of the best I've ever had but that couldn't make up for the lack of value for money.
The positive thing was that the people were friendly.

This could possibly be the most boring place in Europe and if you find yourself in this position then this hotel won't do too much to get you out of it. It is a dead quiet village about 15 to 20 minutes drive to Clervaux with only the hotels bar and 1 other in the village as the only place where you will see some activity. The hotel itself is clean although rooms are very basic and there are no real warm touches to them at all. The TV reception and channel selection is poor, the rooms if you are unfortunate enough are about 3 metres from a road that passes the hotel, their is no aircon, generally old and tired decor with absolutely no character to them. To be fair though the general bar is fine and reasonably priced and the breakfast is actually quite nice. The staff are reasonably friendly and helpful although they don't really go the extra mile to please you. The restaurant is very good although it is extremely expensive. The chef does do a cheaper 3 course option which we ate and were very impressed. It is however without this priced well out of the market and does not sit well with the general feel of the rest of the hotel and surroundings. There are no further services ever really offered to keep you occupied so unless you are there with your mountain bike or walking/hiking boots you will have nothing to do so be prepared!

I spent 5 days here with my teenage son, exploring the Ardennes Battlefields. The hotel is a Logis hotel ( 2 fireplaces) with a new restaurant ( and a mini-bowling alley in the Bar!).

The menu gastrnomique was stupendous ( I blew up before the last course) so we moved to en Pension.

3 course Gastro suppers resulted (dishes mainly from the A la carte menu) cooked by the proprietor and served by his wife.

as a surprise they did a cooked english Breakfast for my son on the last day - Magnifique.
