This was part of our island hopping boat ride. You take stairs to the top of mountain and then descend which leads you to a lake which is great. There are number of water sports you can do while at lake and there is also a walkway (boardwalk) which takes you almost halfway around the lake.

Our guide was our first day Uber driver from the airport. I would say he doesn’t value add much and cost a lot. We got 4 adults and 1 kid and its cost a whopping RM480 for the entire kilim karst trip. Although the trip have a private boat driver, feeding of fishes and monkeys, bat cave and tanjong rhu beach. I still think the trip was expensive. Our lunch at one of the Fish farm cost RM270 with them insisting us ordering fish. Never to order seafood there. They have snorkeling too but we didn’t participate as we do not have the goggles. Everything was expensive on the cheap island. The food needed to feed was also prepared on our own. Our boat also spoiled during our trip and we were stucked in the sea for 1 hour and getting motion sickness. The only good thing was the beautiful sight of the mangrove and the kid getting in touch with nature. Feeding monkeys and fishes. Need to watch the price. Do ask if the price quoted includes tips and food and land transfers to the jetty.

When you visit langkawi devote a whole day for this trip. Many hotels arrange the trip for you. Price is generally 90 ringit with hotel transfer, trip and lunch included. The tour takes you to the inteeior parts of the mangrove forest. Itineray is bat caves, eagle feeding, island hopping. Your whole trip actually depends on the tides. Generally an english speaking guide accompanies you. Anyways i highly recommend this trip as well.

We booked our tour using de Baron from Cenang beach area. They came to pick us up from hotel and took us to the boat loading area. Our tour guide Abu was very knowledgeable and funny. The only this was the food provided at fish farm was tasteless. Only fried rice and fried chicken. Watermelon and orange juice. If you're vegetarian let them know in advance. They will give you the same except 2 small spring rolls instead of chicken.
