We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days..totally breathtaking views of Cenang beach. The property is lush with tropical style plants, flowers and shrubs. Very nice rustic beach styled rooms and it was just what we wanted (family of 3). It is just a few meters walk to the beautiful sunset view beach..we were there every evening watching the beautiful sunset and we had our privacy. Very clean beach with hardly any crowd around as there is a government owned beach resort right next to this property (Not a soul was in sight) and we took walks early morning before sunrise and way past midnight just to enjoy the sea breeze. The staff is very friendly and the room service (clean up) was prompt and nice. I would totally recommend budget travelers like us to stay here as all the eateries are close by and don't forget to ask the front desk for the best local food (roti canai for breakfast). We did not even miss the swimming pool after lazing on the clean, quiet beach with breathtaking views of the islands around and sunset.

Room Tip: Wi fi works best near the beach & front desk

Undoubtedly a tropical stay, we are pleasant with the attached beach.

However facilities should be enhanced. Old TV is fine but at least please ensure the channels are well-connected? Also it would be better if there is shampoo provided.

Located just off the beach in the quieter part of town. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this place for couples, individuals or families. Gardens and pathway well maintained.

Room Tip: We had a room closer to the beach than the main road, which was good. Although any part of the reso...

This was our experience, we would recommend but just read the following.

Pros
Good location, private quiet beach, a few minutes walking from all the action, beautiful garden, well maintained, nice staff, powerful airco and fan. Clean and cozy room. Two beach towels. Modern with authentic interior. Great shower.

Cons
Everything located around the resort is under construction, 5 random foreign tv channels, no locker in room but at reception (7am-11pm), wifi not working in our room and our room was next to reception, it only worked at the reception, noisy fridge + airco (it kept making ticking sounds at night). Our room was close to the road so could hear traffic.

Around 10 min walk on the beach you will see bar/restaurant 'Thirstday'. We went here many times, great atmosphere, fresh food, friendly staff and so affordable!

Room Tip: "Ask for a room closer to the beach" "Ask for a room with wifi connection"

It's my 3rd visit this year 2016 and each time I'm at Langkawi throughout the years, I'll choose to stay here without hesitation. I was there recently for a short birthday getaway and was pleasantly surprised by the receptionist with a bottle of red wine :) Ida, Sarah and Ella has always been so accommodating, friendly and helpful.

If I have to provide concrete feedback, I would very much appreciate the management to provide better sundeck chairs as the current ones are in a sad state (broken) or without the paddings. Another feedback would be to include more tv channels as despite the new TVs, it's a sad thing to know there aren't many channels to watch and the reception is very poor.

There is still no construction beside the resort as of now and I wonder how long more will we have the little private beach to ourselves before the development of the resort next door begins. Currently, the beach is still as private and secluded as ever - which is what I love most about this little hideaway resort.

Initially we booked for 2 nights and later we have extended for 2 nights more. Our room was no 128, sort of family room, large, quiet and dark. It had a window but it could not be opened to let the light get in, instead we had the door opened in the morning before we left the room. AC is noisy if you like to keep it on during the night, but is efficient; we've stayed there at the end of October and the weather was cold enough to keep it off. Because of the weather the beach was restless and we could not swim, but it is very beautiful and relaxing beach, quite private and clean comparing to other places in Cenang.
The place itself looks like a tropical garden, very green and nice decorated, from where you can see sometimes the great hornbill bird, squirrels and 2 very lazy cats (they are there every day but they don't bother).
The surroundings compensate the little drawbacks of the room: you don't get hand towels or extra soap, no shampoo, no shower curtain, warm water only (not hot), or like us, you can have a very shabby door. But for the rest your room will be cleaned every day, and your bed sheets and your towels are changed regularly and they are clean. An honestly, that's abut it in a place like Langkawi: clean, quiet, green, private and relaxing.
If you're the type who likes to spend the whole day out and less money on hotels, then this place is just the right place.
Oh, and the lady in charge there is so nice and funny and very helpful.

Room Tip: the rooms closer to the beach are more quiet
