My friend and I really enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and warm. We loved the underfloor heating in the kitchen and the fridge stocked with breakfast was a welcome touch. The owners have thought of everything needed for a relaxing stay. The cottage is well placed for things to visit; castles, the Arboretum and Kiplin House. The Greyhound Inn was 5 mins walk away and served great food, Bedales also had a choice of places to eat. Would definately recommend.
Mullion cottage is perfect! Lovely breakfast room over looking the secure dog friendly garden, well equipped kitchen with high quality appliances, the local pub does good food & dog friendly only 2mins walk.
The beds are comfortable with luxury quilts & bed linen, a good supply of fluffy towels & amazing showers
The lounge is cosy with a large tv,dvds, books mags& games
Good off lead dog walk at the top of the road
Bedale is about 4miles away for all the supplies you need to eat, drink& chill out!
Gary was very accommodating as we had to change date & letting us in early!!
The welcome pack gave us everything we needed for a lovely breakfast!
Would defiantly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break!!
This cottage is absolutely superb. A lot of love, care and attention has been put into this property to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It has everything you would need and is spotless. If staying in the area I would highly recommend this property.
We only stayed a couple of nights but were wishing it was longer! The cottage is absolutely lovely and in a fantastic location, close to the A1 and the market town of Bedale but right out in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the ingredients for a full English breakfast when we arrived, what a lovely touch. The underfloor heating downstairs kept the cottage really cosy, we didn't even need the log burners. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped (had plenty of books and dvds to keep anyone happy even if they didn't set foot outside for a week). The local pub was also very welcoming and does good food within a very short walk.
Mullion Cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. Modern, clean, spacious, cosy and containing everything we could ever need for a perfect stay. Gary was a wonderful host and made sure our stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as it could possibly be. It felt like a home away from home and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be coming back as soon as possible. Gary - thank you so much!
What a great place to stay in North Yorkshire, this place was totally different to any cottage we have stayed at before.
Recently renovated it had a superb lounge and dining room - separated by folding doors - log burning stoves in each room so when it was howling outside we were well toasty.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped, when we arrived Gary (the owner) had left us a welcome pack of local produce - sausage, bacon and black pudding. Beds had Egyptian cotton sheets and were really comfy.
Remarkably the cottage had a really fast internet connection, which allowed us to watch Netflix etc.
Great place to stay - thanks Gary and Jackie we will be back

I spent the May bank holiday at Mullion Cottage. What a place! Everything was perfect. It began with a fantastic warm welcome by the owners Jackie and Gary and went from there. The cottage was top class. Cosy (two log fires) and amazingly renovated. The area was great too. Although close to the A1 you feel like you are in the heart of the countryside. It had everything: Walks, scenery, great country pubs and delicious beer! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
