Four of us descended on the new little tea shop and all went for the same thing - hoisin duck open sandwich. It was delicious, really fresh tasting with plenty of crunchy salad and grilled vegetables. Tried the rose breakfast tea, which was deliciously fragrant. We spent a very pleasant hour in the back room, which was comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon.

Had the ramen for lunch, straight from a packet, water with lots of chilli powder and a few sorry looking vegetables. Couldn’t eat it and the clueless waitress didn’t understand it wasn’t edible! Big miss, go to Manchester instead or one of the tea shops or the brewery opposite Morrison’s supermarket. Save your money! Awful food

If you like top notch loose tea this is the place for you. The owners are passionate about good quality loose leaf tea and stock many varieties, some of which I'd not come across before. The service was prompt and the staff were personable, interacting with customers appropriately. The tables are well spaced and there are more in the back - so do not be deterred if the front of tearoom appears full.

We called in on a visit to Ramsbottam on a steam train, when "the mini beast from the east" was also visiting, so we were ready for a hot drink. So glad we did. Our tea was served with small Chinese style handcrafted cups; we like them so much that we bought a pair to take home.

The tearoom also serves coffee and food, but we did not participate on this visit. As the write up infers this is not a cheap eats/drinks place, as you get top quality ingredients. A must for tea connoisseurs.
