The restaurant is on 2 floors, with the Ladies at first though there is a disabled / baby changing facility on the ground floor. Comfortable, spacious and air conditioned, the service is friendly and efficient, the menu is varied though not extensive and is reasonably priced. My wife was delighted with everything she had and thought the dessert possibly her best anywhere, ever. Whether you regard it as very good or excellent food may depend on your choice from the menu. No step to enter, but half dining upstairs. parking on street or on the station car park , directly across the road. Ideal for combining with a trip to the East Lancashire Railway. There is a bar area, but we didn't go into it, I believe you can eat there, too. Full bar in the restaurant.
