This is an exceptional home with great facilities and views close to the beach and common in a quieter part of Guernsey. I would love to live here!
Perfect place to chill out and relax with beautiful coast line and amenities at hand.
Easy access to main centres given the location of the property.
The house is well laid out with all the expected mod cons and much much more.
Many thanks to Pete for his very warm welcome and offer of help and assistance as and when required. A beautiful property situated in a beautiful location. Would definitely consider visiting again.
The house was amazing and very accomadating. the vicinity was good.We caught the buses everywhere as they were very cheap especially with a day pass. We are out now and then and had some meals out. Some restaurants were a bit expensive but it's like that at home. The Pony in Capelles was excellent. We got charged for hot water in At Martin's village which was a bit disappointing but we were needing a hot drink and being herbal tea drinkers had no choice.A nice lady who lived there said she would have boiled her kettle for us. We spent a day relaxing at Sark and we enjoyed the aquarium in the town. We saw some dolphins jumping in the bay that made our trip complete.Everyone relaxed and the sunsets from the balcony were beautiful. We have many special memories now from our Guernsey family holiday.
Lovely location, wonderful views, peaceful holiday location. Plenty of lovely walks & places to explore.
Very modern well equipped house with sea views and easy access to beach and coastal walks. Ideal layout for a large party. Whatever the weather the house provides an excellent base to tour and explore.
With lovely views across to the sea, and a well kept garden to the rear, this extensive property would suit many larger parties and was well kitted out for children. The four bedrooms were adequately furnished and spacious and fitted with plenty of hanging space and clothes hangers. Parking at the front was easy and could accommodate three cars with ease. The kitchen area and the utility room had all the equipment you'd need. A short walk across the common takes you to sandy beaches, fringed with little cafes and toilets, so plenty for children to enjoy on the sand. Further afield, Pembroke Bay has a good beachside restaurant whilst in the other direction, the restaurant at the marina is a short stroll to. The islands bus service is excellent and a number 11 bus passes by at the bottom of Bunker Hill, just a short walk from the house. Finally, check out the supply of essential foodstuffs left by previous renters before venturing into Waitrose else you could find you are doubling up on many items. For the more adventurous, a hire car is essential.
In a great quiet location, beautiful views over the coastline of setting sun. Super enclosed warm garden, perfect for BBQ dinners. We were able to walk and cycle to many beaches and also out for dinner at the Marina and to buy delicious locally grown tomatoes. The bus service was also easy and excellent.
The house itself was spacious, light and airy and decorated to a high standard but - perhaps a little hard to relax with young kids for the fear of damaging something!
