We visited for the Christmas in Clarington tour and stayed at Petra and Martin's B&B. Wonderful hospitality, comfortable, clean room and an outstanding breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more. Our Valley View B&B will definitely be where we stay next time we visit the area.

We recently stayed at this hidden gem during our visit to Canada. Our hosts Martin and Petra made our stay so welcome and so comfortable that we felt we were at home. The view from the breakfast table was always breathtaking. The time we visited was mid October so the colours in the valley were just spectacular! Thank you for making our trip so special! We sure will return!

This is a quaint, lovely, comfortable B&B hosted by two amazing people. This was my husband's and my first time at a B&B and I can say that it was the best experience ever. We stayed one night, but wowzers!!! I wanted to stay a lifetime. Petra and Martin are such a sweet couple, you can tell they enjoy what they are doing and more so enjoy meeting new people and hearing all of our stories. I highly recommend this B&B if you will be in the neighborhood. With Martin's amazing sense of humour and Petra's unbelievable yummy breakfast spread....you are guaranteed a good time on a full tummy.

We stayed with friends overnight in July 2016 following the Spartan Super at Brimacombe. From our arrival, everything was better than expected. The location, on a beautiful hillside, was easy to find. There were cookies and coffee cake left out for us when we arrived, which we snacked on through the night. Both rooms and bathrooms looked as they are shown in the photographs, and were very nice. Petra and Martin were excellent hosts, from making sure we had everything we needed to giving us advice about local attractions and even following up with a courtesy email after we checked out and drove home. Can't say enough about the breakfast-one of the best I've ever had. Thank you so much Petra and Martin!

We only stayed one night but we had a wonderful time at Petra and Martin's bed and breakfast. If you want a feeling that you got away from it all, to a lovely home where the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful and there is peace and quiet, then this is the place to stay. Martin and Petra were warm and inviting hosts and made us feel at ease and welcomed. They were gracious and affable the entire time we were there, but always allowed us our space. The rooms were very clean and charming, with decorative furnishings, but also with good beds and modern conveniences. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh roasted coffee, juices, homemade waffles, jams and honey, plus fresh fruits, toast and a strawberry and yogurt parfait that was delicious. If you want to stay in the area then we would highly recommend this place!!
