A nice place, room statefully decorated with a small balcony about 30 minutes' drive away from Yala.

We enjoyed the homely meals and friendly staff. At dawn, thousands of bats fly for hunt over a road nearby creating a magnificent view (which is unfortunately impossible to capture on a photo).

The most imporant thing for us, though, was that it wad the only hotel that provided same accomodation for our driver as for us, and let them eat in the same room as us. The segregation was the biggest shock to us on our trip, and this hotel was the nicest final touch.

Being greeted and taken care by the hotel owner is the epitome of hospitality. Though we stayed just for few hours (stop over at night), the warm reception by the staff, the homely food and the spacious rooms really helped us relax. Topping to the experience was the owner interacting with us (in fact he was checking on every guest at the dinner table about their stay). Though late in the night, he went out of the way to show us the place from the hotel terrace and giving us the glimpse of the city history. Truly an amazing and memorable experience of the stay.

This nice small hotel is beautifully placed on the bank of the Tissa tank, out of the traffic flow. The location brings it a sense of serenity. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was spacious, well equipped and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Though the spread was limited, food tasted good. It was acceptable for the price paid. Pool is well maintained.

They have a 360 degree viewing platform on the rooftop with amazing views.

Wished for high chairs and baby cots to be child/ family friendly!

We were passing through and was invited to the hotel rooftop by the owner for an incredible experience at dusk when the bats in the nearby trees (hundreds of them) pass overhead. It was just beautiful! Incredible views of the lake and surrounding scenery. The owner was so welcoming and friendly and happy to tell us all about the bats and the local area. We also ate at the hotel and the food is delicious and good coffee! Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for our visit to Katharagama temple. Even though its late I would like to write my appreciation to the Manager Mr Janaka Ranasinghe and the chef for going all out to preparing vegetarian meals and special tea for us as we were vegetarian

Room Tip: we took the room facing the lake But one can go up to the roof level for 360 degree view
