This ryokan’s hospitality was great. While I was sitting on sofas to wait for check in, they served some drinks. I had never experienced that thing in any other hotels.
Also, the dinner and breakfast were amazing. I had dinner around "Irori" sunken hearth. Although it is nice, it is a little bit awkward to sit on the floor for long time. They have table style hearth as well, so if you mind it, you should use the table style hearth.
But one thing, I couldn’t see the river from my room because of roof on the 1st floor. I was a little bit disappointed, but overall it was great ryokan.More
