We found Cafe Seven Islands on our way to the Ishibashi house of the Japanese art house project in Honduras Port. We decided to take a break there, and were delighted to discover a restaurant that was more like a museum than a restaurant. It is full of masks, art objects, and interesting things. The staff was charming, the shisso juice divine, and we left completely restored. Thanks for the creative and fun rest stop!

Hidden in a small street you can find this place, it is a small place for traditional japanese food and japanese curries. The volunteers are extremely nice.

Had read it was good for veggie & vegan options. The solo vegan option they had (a tofu sandwich) was served to me without tofu but with salad cream! There were barely any vegetables in the new sandwich they gave me - mainly lettuce probably cause they'd run out of vegetables. The side salad was the stuff you get out a packed in Seven11. The staff were really nice and the garden was cool but that doesn't make up for disappointing food. We had to eat elsewhere later. Maybe go for a drink or perhaps the food will be better if you eat fish/meat.

This was a surprise. We came across this little cafe when the rest of the town was totally dead. The cafe is full of antiques and collectible and Amazing old kimonos for a steal. Some as cheap as 1000 yen. !!! The staff were great, a real international mix. The food was delicious especially the sandwich which was fresh and interesting. Best of all was the vibe was cool. People were playing bamboo flutes and it felt like we really were in a hub. I wanted to stay longer!!

This restaurant is owned by a japanese cook chef. It mights take some time to be served, but the food is always good-looking and very tasty.
I've been there 2 times and really enjoyed it.
The chef has a homemade juice made from organic herbs grown in his garden (Shiso juice), it's very unique.
The decoration is made with typical japanese objects (kimonos, statues, fabric ...) and some of them are for sale.
The garden is a little messy but it adds some charm to the place.
