Amazing trails and well marked! Be sure to wear waterproof hiking boots if raining as trails get mucky and slippery. Moderate level trails were tricky in many sections and not recommended for beginner hikers.
No crowds and fall colours were amazing. Highly recommended!

Hiking Silver Peak is a must! Both outfitters will see you right for canoes. The Crack trail's views are worth the scrambling.

This is a great park but the office staff ruined the trip. They were very sexist (in my opinion). They did not care at all about stopping the spread of covid and were rude to me when I asked that they enforce the rules set out by health practitioners.

The lakes are pristine - kayaking here is AMAZING!! We had a loon surface within 15' of our boat - what a thrill!

Exploring this Provincial Park will take more than a one day visit and we can’t wait to return. For Group of Seven fans this is the ultimate destination. Jaw dropping views, multicolored rocky landscapes and beautiful water everywhere - a photographers paradise! Make sure you wear sturdy boots, carry drinking water and snacks and be prepared to scramble over rocks. For someone used to the well marked Bruce Trail as we were, this was a bit of a challenge with faded markets painted on rocks and broken plastic markers on occasional trees. The welcome centre was excellent and clean washrooms welcome.
