We went to the Cowbell today for lunch. We arrived shortly after 1 to find the place packed! We were promptly seated and had Sara for our waitress. She was very knowledgeable about the beer and offered pairing suggestions. My wife had the smoked trout as an appetizer and it was superb, nice smoke on the fish served on a potato cake. She had the vegan pot au feu and I had the lamb burger. Both were well done and full of flavour. We will be back.

Went today for lunch and we reserved a table, good thing as it was packed shortly after arriving. Waitress was knowledgeable about the types of beer and helpful as to what beer I should choose. The food was excellent. I will be returning. It's a must see spot if you've never been.

Had stopped here in December for lunch. Went for dinner this time with adult son in tow.

Had the Pork a Bello sandwich with baked potato and bacon salad. Both were top notch and very filling. The pork burger was very juicy and flavorful.

Wife repeated her mushroom and cheese pizza. Enjoyed it again.

Son had lamb burger and caesar salad. Kept saying how good his salad was. Claimed lamb was a little dry but had good flavor.

Did a couple of beer flights. Nice selection, decent price, and fun stories associated with each brew. I lean toward the Kelly's Contraption but enjoyed Absent Landlord and Shindig too. Son favored Doc Purdue's Bobcat.

Great atmosphere. Service was a little slow but good.

Will return.

What can I say. A gem in the back country of beautiful Ontario. Love their dreams and I give much respect to the reality they are creating for themselves and their communities.

We live 45 minutes away and have made several trips to Cowbell. Each time seems to be better then the last. The building is spectacular with no expense spared. The food is excellent and the beers are perhaps the best collection of beers under one roof that I have ever had! Well done Cowbell!! Cant wait to come back!
