Stunning views, stunning cuisine.
Although looking a little tired, this could be construed as in character with the building. The views from the terraces and our room were spectacular. Having been touring through Spain and France for two weeks, this was our 7th hotel in 3 weeks and one of the best.
The restaurant was first class and priced exactly right. The food was some of the best we have had. The Maitre d' has this restaurant running like clockwork with a very good team working with him. Observant, attentive, polite and engaging. Well done Sandy Cove to all the staff for an excellent weekend.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are little more expensive but most certainly worth it. Separate indoor heated pool with steam room and sauna.

We stopped here on our way back from one of the hidden beaches which is about ten minutes walk away. Ordered some food for me, the hubby and our two boys.

Food was tasty and satisfying and we all enjoyed it. The views were great.

We all looked bedraggled when we arrived from all the steps we had to climb from the beach but we left full and refreshed.

Would go again.

We live in Holland but we travel in England during one month. We visit London, Devon and Cornwall. Sandy Cove is the best hotel so far we stay in in England. We book standard rooms at good value cost, very good and comfortable. View is best we see anywhere, food also is best we taste in England. Staff are friendly and willing to serve you, want to please you. Want to visit again.

This was our fourth visit to this lovely hotel. Every time we go back they have updated and improved something and this time we were very impressed to see the new pool building and terrace with sofa seating. We were lucky enough to have great weather and when we arrived at the hotel it was so good to see everyone sat out enjoying the wonderful views, felt like being abroad! We had a lovely welcome from Lesley the receptionist who also offered help with our luggage. Food as always was exceptional and service also good. We did stay around the hotel this visit and also tried the bar menu at lunchtimes, great freshly prepared food. We went down to the secluded cove next to the hotel which we had never done before, very beautiful but tiring with so many steps down to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are considering bringing our family here at Christmas.
