Ros thinks of everything to make your stay perfect.
We had a comprehensive pre-arrival pack, and when we arrived found cakes & biscuits, plus a bottle of local wine chilling in the fridge.
The barn is big, stylish, well appointed & very comfortable. The underfloor heating was enough for us, but there is a woodburner if required.
Ros & Kevin are at the end of the drive, or the phone, in case of any queries or questions.
The barn is well-placed for Framlingham with it's castle, coffee shops, & shops to cover most other needs. Coastal Suffolk is a short drive away (we liked Aldeburgh, Thorpness, & Southwold; all have an air of sleepy sophistication, reminiscent of a bygone age).
Woodbridge is also worth a visit. And there are many antique shops within 30 minutes drive.
Overall, we had the most lovely relaxing week in Willows Barn and are planning to go back next summer.

I have stayed at Willows Barn twice - first for a "babymoon" two months before our daughter was born and then with our baby when she was six months old. Both trips were absolutely heavenly!
The barn has been converted so that it's both homely and luxurious - everything you could need is there to make your stay perfectly relaxing and Ros (the owner) could not be more helpful should you need it. The barn is secluded and you are completely separate from the owner's house.
The HUGE bed is incredibly comfy, with beautiful linen that was perfect to sink into. The roll top bath in the bedroom is fantastic - deep and relaxing, although getting out of it when 7 months pregnant was interesting!
We didn't need the woodburning stove as it was lovely and warm both times we stayed, but the thought of snuggling up on the comfy sofa in front of the stove is very tempting and certainly something we'll be planning to do on our next visit there.
On our second trip with our young daughter, Ros provided a travel cot and a high chair which was really helpful.
The area around Framlingham and the town itself is beautiful and well worth a visit - Aldeburgh is one of my favourite seaside towns, with the best fish and chips I've ever eaten.
In short, I cannot recommend Willows Barn enough - it is perfect for a long or short break, and has everything you could wish for. We will definitely be going back!
