“Fantastic appartment, lovely location”
Reviewed July 24, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

3 friends and I stayed here for the 2015 Open at St. Andrews. The apartment itself is not especially close to St. Andrews, but is reasonably priced and around 35-40 minutes drive to the Old Course parking. Also close to several other golf courses. We had the 3 rooms set up with one king size in the main room, and 3 singles in the second room, which was fine for us. The apartment itself was fantastic, with a good sized living room and separate dining area, and the kitchen was well stocked. Would happily stay here again.

“Fabulous apartment in the beautiful Kingdom of Fife”
Reviewed June 14, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This was our second stay at Inchview and we will definitely be back. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. It was a real pleasure to return to it each night and we all slept comfortably in the two spacious bedrooms. My elderly parents loved the master bedroom and the quaint little touches like the teddies on the bed. The second bedroom though smaller has a nautical theme and was just as well equipped and cosy. We didn't meet the owner during our stay but she left fresh flowers and a basket of goodies including wine and there was juice and milk in the fridge which meant we could arrive and relax. Kinghorn beach is a short walk away and very pretty. We travelled around by car but the local train station will get you to all the main towns including a regular service to Edinburgh.

Liked best: Everything about the apartment is lovely
Liked least: Possibly the stairs because of age of my parents but they were fine

I am delighted that you have enjoyed your stay and I'm pleased the children find it a welcoming place to visit too. Fife is a gem of a place for tourists and I look to improve my website soon to sell the location. Meanwhile, I look forward to welcoming your return. Haste ye back!
Best wishes
Lynne

“Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped apartment”
Reviewed March 31, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this apartment. It was very well equipped and tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Furniture, linen etc was all of good quality and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is equipped for just about anything you might want to cook and the rooms are all of a good size. The flat is light and bright and the separate dining room has great views over the Firth of Forth.
We got excellent arrivals information and we were impressed with the little touches that welcomed us to the apartment - eg fresh flowers and the 'special' welcome pack. So many little touches make you feel at home in the flat - not like many self catering properties which have a barren feel to them.
A great deal of thought had obviously been put into providing information and equipment to help guests get the most out of their stay. We know the area well but there was a wealth of information provided about the local area, transport and things to do which would be useful for those visiting for the first time. There was a mini library and a good selection of CD's for the adults and two boxes of toys for children.
Kinghorn is well located for visiting other parts of Fife or Edinburgh and Inchview is 5 mins walk form the shops and the local train station. The Ship restaurant, 10 minutes walk up the road, serves excellent food and there is a Chinese carry out restaurant a couple of minutes away. Kirkcaldy and Burntisland, a couple of miles either side of Kinghorn, offer a range of good eating places.
We certainly hope to go back to Inchview and highly recommend it to others.

“Outstanding apartment with sea views”
Reviewed February 22, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed here over a weekend in February. What a joy!

This stylish apartment has no expense spared furnishings and amenities, as good as we have experienced anywhere, including in top hotels.

It has views across the Firth of Forth to Berwick Law, the Bass Rock and Gullane.

Kinghorn is ideally suited for exploring St Andrews, Edinburgh and Fife's stunning coastal locations.

If you are looking for a chilled, luxury retreat, I could not recommend this highly enough.

Thank you for your lovely review. We aim to have the home from home experience as its what we would like in a self catering home and so we continue to invest in the property every year to maintain its standards. We are hoping for more guest discoveries this year so it helps when honest reviews are this good! Haste ye back!
