I cannot speak for Peter Pan or Tinkerbell, we never saw them. But Captain Hook was beyond my wildest imagination!

Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful location. I believe the resort was recently renovated, and it looks/feels amazing. There are a lot of activities (kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, hiking to a waterfall, etc.), but we never felt overly busy or pressured. Activities not included were all still reasonable (about $15 USD/person for wakeboarding, renting a motorcycle, or a massage).

We were greeted right off of the boat with a drink and lunch. The room price included unlimited food, and boy did they deliver! So much food! Fresh seafood, most dishes were not too spicy (for foreigners worried about that). Meal seating is right on the water with the breeze coming in, it's the perfect setting.

The sleeping villas are set just a few steps from the water and there are hammocks or couches in open-air villas right on the water. We'd wake up every morning, go grab a hammock and sleep for another hour or so as the sun came up. The bathrooms are definitely Thai-style (think outside in a covered porch), but the flush toilets are in perfect working condition and I never saw the bugs I became accustomed to seeing in the outside bathrooms at other resorts.

The only downside - the beach is small. But in the late afternoon when the tide went out, there was definitely plenty of sand to lay down and grab some sun if you wanted it. I personally had been expecting a Hawaii-style 3 days straight on the beach, so the lack of beach worried me at first. But in the end, I barely noticed it! Got plenty of sun, plenty of rest, plenty of food, and wish we could have stayed several more days (we went during Christmas, it was completely booked). The price per person seems high, but you are getting so much bang for your buck!

I went with a Thai-speaking cousin, so I can't directly vouch for the staff's English skills, but I believe they always have a couple of folks on hand who can speak English.

Room tip: Lower-numbered Villas are closer to the open water and dining area/activities, the higher numbers are on the river and more secluded. All are nice. Doesn't matter about noise either way. The place was completely full when we were there, and still was never noisy at all.

Went there last week with many friends. The resort is manage very well even there are many of us. The food is very tasty. The room is ok, very basic but have everything you need. you can find TV at the lobby. The electricity for air condition is on at 5pm and off again at 9 am but the fan is on all day.
The hotel boat is good, fast and safe. I mean safe as every passenger has own lifevest and they very strict with the number of people on the boat.
There is no beach but the water is so clear. Love the place very much and surely I will go back again

We bought package for all meals & accommodation to go to Captain Hook Resort. Once paid already, almost no need to bring money there. All are included, I mean all you name it being drinks, trips to snorkel, kayak and trek to the waterfall. Unbelievable really! The location is so great. You may clear sea to swim, beach and canal to kayak. Very suitable for those who love activities and seafood. We are fed by overwhelming seafood.
The con is on the accommodation. The room is just so so, not very comfortable. No TV. Limited electricity forces them to turn on air con only during night time.
Anyway there are so many things to do outdoors than to stay in rooms. In sum, Captain Hook is for adventure.
Those who are crazy about the beach are suitable more for Peter Pan. Couples would love Tinker Bell, the newest in the group.

Room tip: pool villa would be nicer than villa by the river

This is a resort that is very basic in the elements. We stayed at the deluxe room & there was only air conditioning between 5pm-9am daily. During the day, it was unbearable to be in the room. There was no wardrobe or refrigerator in the room.

The beach was nice & very shallow - have to swim out further to be able to swim properly. However, the sea was pretty rough & not very suitable for swimming. Unless you swim on the side where they have boats to ferry people to the resort.

The hotel will pick you up from the pier and take a mini van to another small pier where the staff will ferry you and your luggage to the resort in an open air boat. Not sure what happens when it rains as the resort has only 2 boats & only 1 of them has a small shelter that covers less than half the boat.

The staff is friendly and the place is quiet. It was newly renovated & we were the only guests in the hotel on the first day. However, there was absolutely nothing to do there, except to the water fall, swim in the sea/pool. We could go snorkling/swimming/kayaking (due to the rough sea, despite not raining).

To go out of this place, we were given the option to hire a van that would cost us between THB500-700 to the town or to the other 2 resorts owned by the same owner (Peter Pan & Tinker Bell). It was not worth it as the transport would only take us to one of the locations & that we had to eat at that location (i.e. @ the resort). The staff explained to us that it was due to us booking only the hotel instead of the package. But paying almost double for the package didn't make sense. The additionals to the package was the meals (which cost us about THB200 max/person/meal) and the waterfall trip (as the other activities would be out of the question due to the rough sea). Also, the website prices for the services were outdated.

Overall, a relaxing trip with absolutely nothing to do and it was back to the nature, with the rooms with ants & mosquitoes. Also, loved the 4 resident dogs, of which 1 would come waking us every morning by lying infront of the door & wagging it's tail against the door.

The manager was nice (only 2 of the staff could speak English) and tried her best to provide good service. Her service did make a difference to us, although we probably wouldn't recommend anyone to come unless they want to have a holiday of doing absolutely nothing at a high price.

This place have some upsides and downsides as well

Great:
1. FOOD! It is totally value for money. The amount of seafood and meals they feed you per day is why I think this place is not that bad after all. They are very generous in amount and quality.
2. Quiet Beach.
3. Friendly and helpful staffs.
4. Small water/beach activities to help you pass some of your time

Not So Great:
1. Accomodation. It is not bad for the price we payed but personally I hope it was better.

All in all, me and my friends had a great & relaxing time with some minor kayaking and going to the waterfalls.
