We just returned from Ganpatiphule. It was not a pleasant experience on reaching the hotel after a long journey. Hotel manager first refused to accept that we had a booking in that hotel for three days. When we presented the Cleartrip booking confirmation slip, then they switched on their PC and accepted it. Hotel manager complained about cleartrip that they never been informed by Cleartrip about our booking other than sending an e-mail. Maximum time E-mail service is off in Ganpatiphule. They first alloted us a horribly dirty room without any proper infrastructure like table, TV etc, saying that no other room is vacant. We at all did not like that room and refused to enter into that room. After a lot of heated exchange of words, finally Hotel manager alloted us another room, which is much better and spacious than than the first room. Room service was quick, however they never bothered to clean the room during our stay. Hotel staff was good and attached restaurant service was also good but strictly follows the time schedule. For example dining service is open from 7 PM to 10 PM. One day we reached the restaurant at 10:10 PM and they refused to entertain us. Then somehow we managed to take food from other hotel. Specially on a vacation tour, it is very difficult to be too much punctual. Overall I would say that this is an average hotel.
We strongly suggest Cleartrip nowonwards to inform verbally or telephonically the hotel managers, immediately after the booking is confimed to avoid this type of miscommunication and hassle.
