Khecheopalri Lake is located in west sikkim near Pelling Town. This lake is holy for Hindus and Buddhas. There is a View Point near Khecheopalri Lake from where anybody can take the overview of the lake but the steps are steep.

This lake is a Religious lake and is very beautiful and quiet. If one needs to capture the full view of the lake then you need to make a steep trek in the adjacent mountain. The trek is step and not recommended for Senior Citizens.

This place is well worth a visit if in Pelling area. Entrance fee is 10 rupees. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to the lake from the car park. Come I'm comfortable shoes.
The lake is surrounded by hills and is quite beautiful.
There are steps up to a viewpoint of the lake, however we did not walk up and so unsure of the length.
There is also a monetary next to it.
Limited snacks available at the car park.

The most impressive part of the visit was the ride to the lake along narrow roads with 800 foot drops. Not for the faint of heart, but worth the trip.

Enjoyed visiting the lake. The views were good and I watched the fishes being fed. It is a peaceful place but could do with better paths around the lake so the visitors and pilgrims could enjoy the walk around the lake.
