The fort is popular tourist destination. But the facilities are average. Except the view there is nothing much to see. Can be avoided.

We went in month of October as family. The walk from parking till main area is around 7 minutes. You can also optionally climb stairs and go further up.

The view from the top are pretty beautiful. You can spend 30-40 minutes in solitude here though there would be decent crowd whenever you go.

The entry I believe closes around 6 PM.

This historical Portuguese fort was crowded on that day . A kind of two tier winding first leads to a beautiful view of the sea. Lots of photo opportunities.

Good place to click lots of pics. It's all open, sun ☀ may heat you up, but still one time watch. You might cover the whole thing in an hour tops until unless you go into architecture of that place.
