Incredible resort in every aspect. The service was immaculate, the food was the best I had in the island. The chef pacifically made food for my gluten free allergy. The resort is so beautiful and peaceful. Took the resort boat on an excursion and had an amazing experience. Luxury rooms with spectaculur views. Very welcoming and warm environment. The staff were super accomodating with always a smile on their face. Had the most amazing massage of my life at the spa. Received personal service all through my stay. The best experienceI have had in any resort in the world. Definitely deserves more than a 5 star. I will be back for sure.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was amazing from pre-arrival to check out. Bernice and Preeya helped us book activities and transportation from the airport to the hotel. They were very responsive and answered all the questions that we had. When we arrived at the airport, we were taken in a car that had scented, cold towels and chilled water. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the Ladies and Gentlemen of the hotel. They quickly took our bags and walked us up to the Arrival Pavilion. It was quite breathtaking and a great first impression of the property. Daniel assisted with our check in, while we were given coconut water and more cold towels. Honey from the concierge helped confirm a few of our activities and gave us a bouquet of flowers to congratulate us on our marriage.

After we finished the check-in process Daniel and Honey gave us a tour of the property in one of their buggies. The property itself is so beautiful and the pictures online do not do it justice. We were taken to our suite and our luggage was there waiting for us along with a mango cake and champagne. The suite was spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable accompanied by soft sheets. The overhead rain shower was phenomenal with good pressure, and the tub was perfect for a soak.

The hotel grounds are quite large, so they have buggies to take you from place to place. We encountered quite a few employees while riding the buggies, but Chet, Jack, Ton, Oh and Wai were people we met multiple times and each time they were gracious and very polite.

The infinity pool is set against their private beach and grabbing 2 lounge chairs was never an issue. The staff at the pool were attentive and engaging. Newyear, Baow, Teya, Fong, and Pop took care of us every time we were there. Our favorite foods/beverage at Tides, the pool bar, were the ceviche sampler, pork skewer, and watermelon sangria.

Every night there is a cocktail reception at the Arrival Pavilion. There we were welcomed by Max’s big smile while we enjoyed the complimentary wine, beer, and juices with small bites as we watched the sunset.

We had breakfast at Shook! every morning and their breakfast buffet was one of the best buffets we had ever had. The food selection was so large that we always had something new to try. They had everything from waffles and bacon, to congee and made-to-order noodle soup, to lox and bagels. Our favorite feature of the buffet was the fresh juices and coconuts. Everything tasted fresh and not at all like typical buffet food. The best part of Shook! is truly the ladies and gentlemen that work there. Min, Bombz, Fern, Maybee, Queen, Sai, and Pla were there almost every morning so we got to know them all very well. They were all genuine and we could feel that they truly cared about our comfort. We also had a private cooking class with Chef Coco and we learned to make 4 Thai dishes. Dinner at Shook! was equally amazing as we were taken care of by Ruby and Joy. We played board while dined there. The Shook! team treated us like family and by the time we left we were very sad to say goodbye.

Thank you to Honey, Miley, and May at the concierge for helping us book all of our activities and answering all the questions we had. We were there during the NBA Finals and when we asked if we could find somewhere to watch the game, Miley and Honey worked tirelessly to find us options. Unfortunately the game couldn’t be shown internationally online, but Miley and Honey would give us the score updates every time we saw them.

During check-out May and Toey provided a wonderful cap to our extraordinary stay at the hotel. When I asked for a cold towel, another lady (sorry we did not get her name) stated that they didn’t have any at that desk, but we would be able to get some at the Arrival Pavilion. We were very grateful but little did we know she went over to the Arrival Pavilion and had the cold towels ready for us when we got there. AMAZING!

This stay was everything we hoped it would be and more. The ladies and gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui have created lifelong guests. We are already planning our next trip back!

The staff was very warm and welcoming. We were greeted by Meow, who was our main point of contact for our entire trip — sort of a personal concierge. Upon arrival, Meow and another staff member handed us a bouquet of roses and a traditional Thai flower garland that smelled divine (it was our honeymoon), as well as some ice cold coconut water and cold towels to help cool us down as we checked in. After helping take pictures of us against the gorgeous backdrop from the check-in lobby, we all hopped on a buggy on a grand tour of the enormous property. They showed us to our upgraded suite, and proceeded to take their shoes off to walk us around inside. That was the moment I knew I’d love it there (I hate wearing shoes indoors). Immediately inside the door, we were surprised at the photos and balloons hanging in the main hall. There was a small cake, champagne on ice, and a bathtub full of rose petals. That was only the beginning.

Our package included the breakfast buffet every morning. Not only did we arrive and check in early (normal time is 3, we checked in at 10), but the staff allowed us to enjoy the breakfast for that morning as well. I had brought a giant pool float with me, for which the staff brought an air pump to the suite, and when we were ready to head to the pool, Meow and Chloe (she was our contact prior to our arrival) came to pick us up in a buggy, and Meow insisted on holding our giant awkward pool float while Chloe drove us down to the main pool. Lunch and dinner were up to us whether we wanted to pay to eat on the resort or venture out to explore the rest of the island. We decided to eat dinner on the property the first night — when we walked down to the beach restaurant for our reservation, we were both pleasantly surprised to find a private table for two set directly on the beach set apart from the restaurant. The staff had spelled out HAPPY HONEYMOON with coals on the sand that they lit on fire for us after our dinner.

We scheduled a couples massage and were able to enjoy their spa facilities, which has a very nice pool and day beds to relax in. The property also has a reef pool with a couple baby sharks and a ton of different species of fish. Think of the real life ocean, but in a giant tank built into the ground that gets cycled with water directly from the ocean every morning. We signed up to do the fish feeding one afternoon, which was really fun, and the staff took photos with a GoPro that they sent us a few days later. Another huge bonus was that normal water sports were free — paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling. And the water was so calm that we were able to paddle board and kayak with ease. Because the property is so large, and all the rooms are up on a large hill overlooking the property and island, there’s a buggy service. Just call down to the front desk or have any staff you run into call one. They practically show up with the snap of a finger.

Overall, yes, honeymoons are special, but Meow, Chloe, and their staff just went above and beyond to make our stay probably one of the most memorable trips we’ve taken.

My family stayed in the resort for 3D2N and I must say it has been a great experience. It is reputed to be the largest resort in Koh Samui and I have no doubt about that claim!

We were greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival at the resort and the check-in experience has been smooth. One of the staff, Mr M, took us on a buggy ride tour around the resort and we were certainly very impressed with the compound.

We had an ocean view suite room and I must say we are more than impressed with the interior and the view that the room offered us. Definitely a "wow" factor in terms of living experience.

Two slightly unpleasant experience were:

1) the non-arrival of the buggy twice even though we had called in advance for booking notice on both occasions . The resource planning part needs a bit more attention.

2) A couple of power trips which was restored after awhile of waiting

Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints! It's a Ritz experience!

Room tip: Choose a room on the upper floors for a great view of the ocean. However, be prepared to climb the steps to get the view!

As for the power trips, we still in the midst of investigations as we do experience the occasional trips due to disruptions from the island’s supply, but our team is also doing a thorough test on the room you stayed as well to ensure all necessary precautions are taken, preventing future recurrences. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

Spent my weekend at the Pool Villa #9206. The Room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained...Ritz-Carlton standard I must say. TRUE Hospitality experienced here was above all standard. Their croissants were one of the best I ever had, and coconut danish was out of the world! Everyone made sure I was having great experience all over the resort. Special thanks to Khun Mohamad Salman, Khun Maria, Khun M, Khun Oh Oh, Khun Bomz, and many of Hotel employees that I could not memorize all the names.
