This really is the hidden gem of fisherman’s village and the food was amazing. Family owned. Dad in the kitchen , Mum and children front of House , a real experience. This is not a plush restaurant but a piece of real Koh Samui and we loved it. Best to phone or walk up and book at table. It’s at the far end of fisherman’s village away from the main strip. Booking always required during high season however after 845pm it tends to clear out. Thai food at its best....

Absolutely loved this place. Ate here twice it was that good. So inexpensive yet authentically Thai with good sized portions.

Family run with no thrills just adds to the character. Be sure to book during the busy season as we saw many people turned away - it only has limited tables.

Love the paper towels as lampshades!

What a little gem of a place we discovered a mere 20 metres from our hotel.
Don't be put off by the surroundings. It is basic and not pretty but you have to book for a reason. It's one of those not-quite-secret local delights that everyone knows to visit. We enjoyed dinner there a few times and each time was simply perfect. The squid, fish and prawns are excellent. The pad thai is fab and the curries are incredible. Do yourself a favour and visit at least once. You won't be sorry!

Fabulous food and service. You have to book in advance but it’s totally worth it. Very good value for money. Cocktails are worth trying and you can also take your own wine with a corkage charge.

The Hut is opposite to the hotel we stayed in, The Waterfront. We didn't eat here until our last night in the area which we regret. It's busy all evening. You need to book to eat anytime from 6pm-9pm. We were lucky as they fitted the 2 of us in (I reserved at about 6pm for 830pm for us 2)
The prices are very good. And the serving size is amazing. It may not look alot from the outside but it is just wow!
