Lovely golf course and greens in excellent condition. Food in the Bistro was some of the best I’ve tasted in a non-Michelin restaurant. Michelin restaurant was amazing. Staff extremely helpful. Room was spacious, clean and modern.
If staying in Relais I would recommend upgrading breakfast to eat in the Chateau for an additional 6 Eur per day - much better food and experience.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful Chateau to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Everything was faultless from check in until we left, the service was amazing & the food was brilliant. The facilities & our room were absolutely wonderful. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Chateau or in returning for another visit.
This was our second attempt to visit this venue as when we had been due to visit in April our flight was cancelled the night before ! Despite us cancelling our booking at literally the last minute , the staff at the hotel were so nice and couldn’t have been more helpful to us. We rebooked the visit, together with our reservations at both Les Fresques and at the bistro for a fortnight later. When we finally made the trip we realised that it had been worth waiting for. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed both the food and the experience at both restaurants.
My husband is a keen golfer and I am presently learning myself so we were able to make use of the driving range and the practice area. Hopefully we will be able to return in the future and play golf together. Although we didn’t play golf this time were happy to just have a relaxing break, I can see however that if you didn’t play golf that you might feel a bit out of things given the number of golfers around.
This is only a very minor point and I am sure most people would enjoy the experience anyway.
We were completely satisfied with our stay at the Chateau des Vigiers. The staff were friendly and courteous, the room was very spacious and the golf course is in very good condition. We were also able to visit several wineries and restaurants in the area.
Just beautiful, Michelin star chef and restaurant with brasserie overseen by the chef chefs from the restaurant. A 27 hole golf, through vines, fruit trees and lovely lakes. It was originally owned by 3 Norwegians who met at Harvard, but was eventually after a lot of renovations acquired by the present owners. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The golf is not very difficult although at the same time demanding. The rooms at chateau beautifully appointed other rooms at the Relais which spacious light and airy. They also offer facilities such as tennis, sauna heated outdoor and indoor pools, there’s also a spa, jacuzzi & hydro pool as well as billiard room in the chateau. It is ideal, we love it and have been returning there every year for the last 15yrs.
