Ate here twice for evening meal and really enjoyed the food. The venue is well decorated and make sure you check out out the rickshaw downstairs near the bathroom. Imported all the way from Bangladesh I understand. Service was warm, friendly and relaxed. The starters were very good (poppadoms, tuna fish balls & samosas with a great selection of different sauces - chilli, mango, yoghurt and tamarind). For mains I would highly recommend the lamb rezala, beef vindaloo and dal. That said the butternut squash and butter chicken dishes were also very good. I liked that you were able to choose rice or bread with your mains. We tried both. For desserts the ice cream sundae with berries was delicious as was the rice pudding and mango. Excellent. Worth traveling for!

We went to the restaurant in particular and I must say that after a waiting time of over 1.30h the food we were served was disappointing. The Saag Paner was rather a spinach with cream way too liquid and you couldn't find the cheese at all.
The butter chicken was tasty yet the sauce was rather a soup.
What was actually good and is to be recommended are the samosas and the tuna meatballs.
Keep in mind that main dishes do not include rice nor bread, it's to be bought separately.
The service was very slow and quite inefficient.

Thank eria t

Hello eria t,
I am very sorry to hear that your visit to our Restaurant was a disappointment. We are actually very proud the food we serve and are very disappointed in us for failing this time.
Sorry for the late reply but we have changed the recipe of the Saag Paneer shortly after your visit as we did agree with you. Our new recipe features a mixture of creamy Spinach as well as fresh spinach leafs and have received great feedback since the change.
On the butter chicken I am sorry that a dish like that has left our kitchen. Our Butter chicken is normally a very thick and creamy sauce and such a dish should have never left the Kitchen, it is our most popular dish. In regards to the wait time, this is very unusual for us, but not unheard and we are sorry for that. On very rare occasion mostly on bank holidays anything can happen to our restaurant. We have experience days on which we have been overwhelmed with customers and not having had any reservations and we had days where we have almost no customers. We always recommend to reserve as sometimes we are full and have to turn customers away.
Sometimes it is very hard to predict how busy it will but we are always trying our best. With reservations in place we can ensure we are prepared to provide an excellent service.
We are grateful for every walk in but sometimes this can stretch our abilities to the max.

Thank you for taking the time to write us this great review and we are listening to it.
All our main dishes now served with Basmati Reis have changed a recipe and improved on our Quality control when food goes out from our Kitchen.
Thank you.

We stayed in the village for two weeks and had lunch and dinner at this restaurant almost every other day. The food was delicious. There was a lot of variety and you could tell a lot of effort has gone into the preparation and presentation. Would definitely recommend!
