The week in the Napasai Hotel in Koh Samui was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it. We stayed in one of the Seaview Villas and had indeed a great view and the privacy we were looking for. The rooms are beautiful and leave nothing to wish for. The service at Napasai is great and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
I do agree with one of the previous comments that the food isn't all too great there. We had dinner in the beachfront and normal restaurant - can't judge on the fine dining restaurant.
The private beach is cleaned every day and the pool is huge and being and infinity pool it is really nice to chill in the pool with ocean view.
I would definitely recommend this place.

In all other areas, a first class resort with attentive staff and excellent facilities. We followed others' recommendations and got a ocean view cabana (#120) two rows up from the beach with a breathtaking view within earshot of gently lapping waves. We ate on-site one night for dinner at the bbq restaurant which was by most standards pretty good - though like most high end resorts, pretty expensive. Our breakfasts were included and were first class. In spite of the beach, the privacy and serenity of the resort were welcomed after a group tour the previous 10 days and we found we were close enough to other resorts and town that we had the best of both worlds. Oh, and the huge, beautiful infinity pool almost made up for the tiny, rocky beach - if you want good sand, go to Cuba.

Room Tip: Don't take a room right on the water (miss the view) or too high up (many, many stairs).

A wonderful property, with nicely-appointed cabins with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff are amazing here. No matter what your question or concern, they were very attentive, efficient, professional, kind and friendly. The hotel is built on a hillside, with many stairs. So, if you have any knee, hip, foot, etc. problems, we recommend you consider another property. They offer a golf cart ride to/from your room, but when you get to the lobby, you will need to climb/descend lots of stairs to get to the restaurants, pool and beach. Our cabin was on the hillside, and it was just lovely. Sliding doors to a front deck take you inside to two sections, divided again by sliding doors: bedroom and bathroom. Nice bed, comfy once they added a featherbed to it, nice amenities, lots of closet space, vanity area, huge tub and rain shower. Meals were great in the Thai dining area (lobster yellow curry was awesome - ask for mild/medium heat). Beach restaurant was hit and miss (don't order shrimp main dish). Great breakfast every morning. One evening they had Thai music and dancers, and dinner was by the pool - great evening. F/D has a few ipads to check emails while away. Happy hour in the lounge (buy first drink, second on the house) in evenings. We had booked two excursions that were cancelled by the tour company due to low interest, so didn't venture too much during our stay here. Overall, it was just what we wanted - complete relaxation. We would recommend this property and if ever we return to Thailand, we would book a stay here again.

Room Tip: Lots of stairs from lobby to restaurants/pool/beach. Golf cart rides to/from cabins to lobby only...

I stayed a week at the Napasai hotel and I loved it ! So relaxing ! The staff always take care of you and make sure you are feeling well. For the ones who likes swimming you have a great pool with a wonderful view and of course, you can swim in the sea. What I preferred is when I took my shower I could look at the sea. So, so beautiful and romantic ! I really recommend this hotel.
Also you have a restaurant on the beach so, so romantic!! You have a cool pool bar and so on.... So nothing to be disappointed at the Napasai!!! You can go and enjoy your stay with no doubt!

This hotel has nothing good to say to be honest, only the landscaping is worth to see but this hotel do not worth the visit.
Look for another one if you like to sleep far from fisherman free exhaust pipes boats and if you like to receive some respect from the staff.
I will never come back to this hotel and will try to avoid the leading hotel group from now on...
I deleted all the details notes to avoid being to long in my complain.
I wish you good luck and hope you will have a good stay in Kho Samui.

Room Tip: If you really want to go to this hotel and face the negative attitude from the staff, ask for a room...

It is a peace of heaven on hearth. Beautiful property, very well managed and where you don't feel constraint for so many rules, but the touch of class is there. Congratulations..

Room Tip: Ask for the cabana with sea view
