We stayed here 12 nights for our honeymoon in November. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is always quiet and the views are amazing. All about relaxation here. Awesome snorkeling right off the beach.

The bungalows are great. Good space, awesome patio's, very cool open air bathrooms. House cleaning was great. The negatives were I wish there were American outlets (the only one was behind the tv stand making it hard to access). And surprisingly, we found it hard to sleep with the frogs on some nights. They can be very loud if they are right outside your window so I would recommend hearing plugs.

The chefs are awesome. The food is so delicious at all times. Their dinners were especially tasty. We ate almost everything on the menu and yes, their pasta and seafood is fantastic.

The hotel arranged a driver for us during the trip. Lennox was absolutely a highlight of the trip. He took us on a full day island tour, a rainforest hike and to the airport. He was so knowledgeable and a true pleasure. I highly recommend you request Lennox if he is available.

We did a 90-minute couples massage which was a very pleasurable experience. Would definitely repeat.

Only thing we do wish there was a little more of was a more welcoming staff. Especially in the beginning of our stay, they were a hit or miss. Sometimes not there, not attentive or the friendliest. Not in a bad way, just not the most welcoming at first considering how nice this hotel is.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay and a beautiful resort. We have many memories of our stay at Laluna!

If you’re an SLH, Rosewood, Four Seasons, Ritz Reserve kind of traveler (I understand, me too) and you want the same level of luxury but packaged in a unique boutique experience with the laid-back ease of Bali then you’re in the right place. I can't imagine anyone who would not fall in love here. 16 cottages in total and a few larger villa's provide privacy and exclusivity without pretension or fuss.

If you have any reservations about the outdoor bathroom or mosquitos (I did initially, coming from FL with the best AC) have no fear, have no concern, have no hesitation... after 24 hours you’ll feel at one with Laluna as everything is top notch. I am not your boho chic kind of travel girl (I’m a lover of designer fashion at heart) and I definitely enjoy the luxury 5 star pristine resorts but this is a break from the norm, this is a dream, this is something that can only be be conceived by someone that has vision and artistry and this is not like anything that any hotel could ever design or that you could ever imagine. The “staff“ is  like a family. They know your name you know their names, this is a truly unique experience where you can have the best of the both the sun and the moon, amazing food without having to leave the property,  the option to do yoga in a beachfront pavilion, water sports and more the opportunities are endless. I can’t say enough good things and if you have the good fortune to meet the owners you'll feel as if it’s an extension of their home they take such pride in the guests experience.

Laluna is truly a vacation vibe designed for those that want to relax and have a good time. I could go on for hours about the food alone (fresh fish, authentic Italian food + ingredients, Caribbean spices), don't hesitate to try anything, the catch of the day is a must along with the octopus salad, I even tried lion fish for the first time. For an after dinner treat the nutmeg ice cream, Vin Santo and Amaro del Capo are not to be missed.

As I was leaving for the airport the chef popped out to say goodbye and that it had been a pleasure....the pleasure was truly all mine.
