Pat's Place was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Great food, beer and atmosphere. Go early (6pm'ish) unless you want to queue for a seat (on fish fry Friday) and then watch the world go by. Try the grilled shrimp (they are actually large prawns), kingfish or flying fish. There are a variety of sides to go with whatever you choose.

Just as the title of my review says - good food but appalling service. We found the fish tasty but the waitress really didn't give two hoots; she was curt to the point of rudeness, hardly ever near 'her' tables for the diners to place orders/get bills, and she forgot my meal so the rest of my party had finished before I even got mine. Did not live up to the hype.

We visited on a Friday night and had tuna / rice and peas / plantain / salad
Try the mahi mahi!! It's the best (had this on second visit)
Huge portions so you can share if you don't like big meals
Cost is around $30 Barbados dollars per meal
Live entertainment with dancers and also a separate area with DJ
Lots of stalls selling local crafts etc although prices were fairly high
Drinks were easy to buy from the local bars and we paid $5 Barbados for rum punches
Communal bench seating
Get there early to avoid the queues like 6pm
Big queues after 7pm ish on Friday
We also visited on Monday which was quiet but we had another great meal
A must do for every trip to Barbados

Good food, price, and value. You get ALOT of food! I had the snapper which was so tasty and fresh. Came with rice & peas, mac and cheese, AND salad. I could not eat it all.
