The hotel is close to all the attractions of Saturnia. The best part is the owner does their own jams, veggies and fruits, and they serve it during breakfast that we took home some.

The hosts are very gracious and charming.

Room Tip: Very accessible to all of what Saturnia has to offer especially the Cascate di Mulino which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

I am often sceptical when reading reviews of independent hotels especially when people say 5 minutes from ............

So here is the truth. This hotel is in Saturnia and is approximately 3 kilometres from the main town. Saturnia town is really a quaint village based around a large square and with a population of approximately 150 people the town has all the basics and several restaurants. The restaurants I would say are budget to mid range in terms of price and offer excellent dining options.

Saturnai is famous for its hot thermal springs and there are two located here.

The first is commercialised and is in the form of a SPA and Pool complex and costs about €25.00 to enter. This is approximately 1 KM from the hotel.

The second and Best in my opinion is the natural springs and plunge pools. These are FREE and only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Really it is a 5 minute gentle walk past the hotel's natural swimming pool and along a footpath and you're there.
I should add that although you cannot see it easily; there is a small café at the springs that serves cold drinks and lunches, so you can easily spend a day here. Space around the springs is limited so if you want to lay a towel out to lie in the sun I would recommend getting here early (easy if your staying at this hotel).

The hotel is lovely, very clean and the hosts are extremely friendly (although their English is vary limited). The rooms are freshly decorated, very spacious and the air conditioning provides a welcome relief from the Tuscan Heat.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast but no other dining options. Therefore you are going to have to walk for dinner unless you have a car.

this place we stay just for a one day as it was on our route.
the overall experience - its clean and quite hotel with a fair price/quality balance.
You can sit outside and open your botle of wine and have some finger foods from parma ham and olives you can buy in a closest village.

cheers

Rod

AWsome location within 5 minutes walk along the brook to the Saturnia waterfalls!
We walked in the bathrobes we got from the gracious hosts through their parklike property to our own entrance to the spectacular falls! Nothing compares to the massage given by a ton of warm mineral water a second falling on you in the falls!

The rooms were very clean, modern and quiet , the bed comfortable and the free breakfast was a treat with more than a dozen of homemade jams (available for purchase if you like them ) for the yogurt , homemade ricotta and the cheeses , homemade cakes, cold cuts and other goodies.

This is a great place to relax and spend a few wonderful days touring the nearby attractions.

We were looking to spend two days on our way from Tuscany to Rome's airport, so we stayed in this place. It is located 5 minute walk from Saturnia's hot springs' cascade! The rooms were a little old but clean. Their breakfast was wonderful: very good ricotta, various jams (made from both fruit and vegetables), bread, fruit, prosciutto, desserts, very enjoyable. The staff is kind and helps with any questions. The place reminded me of a pueblo, a Mexican style village.

Room Tip: Try taking a room on the ground floor, if you can't take the stairs.
