We got this place recommended by a couple we met in our hotel who had visited The Spice House while in Phu Quoc. We did make a booking prior to arrival but we would have been fine just turning up as it wasn't too busy in the early evening. We were sat outside, setting is lovely, nice for a romantic meal. We ordered Mango Chicken and Chicken Curry. It's safe to say that chicken is a safe choice and not often a very memorable meal however that's where you'd be wrong - this Mango Chicken blew us away, cooked to perfection, amazing flavour, loved it. The curry was not far behind - great deep flavour with a bit of heat, enjoyed every spoon. We followed up with a passion fruit tart for a dessert - simply superb. Staff was also very freindly and that always adds to the experience. I would definitely recommend the place!

Our meal this evening at the Spice House was truly delightful.

I ordered a salad starter, which contained a mixture of flavours, it's delicious. There is a lovely amount of lime, peanuts and other ingredients which add to the overall flavour of the dish, and it's all nicely presented on a leaf.

My main course was a Khmer Fish dish - which is simply superb. Absolutely full of flavour, it delivers on every level. If I were to recommend anything to the chef, it would simply be to swap the sticky rice for coconut rice. The flavours of the dish, however, are so intense, it is an absolute delight.

My dessert was a Panna Cotta. This is nice but might benefit from swapping the pineapple with coconut and vanilla. Served with a raspberry jus, this would then make a fine dessert. As it stands, it's okay but not in the same league as the main or starter.

Service is excellent. The staff are both friendly and attentive. We were asked a couple of times if we were enjoying our meal and we never had to wait long if we wished to order extra drinks.

The Spice House is highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights at Cassia Cottage after a busy trip aroundC Cambodia and Vietnam. What an oasis this was. The staff are absolutely charming and so helpful, being attentive, but respecting privacy. The menu is an excellent blend of Vietnamese food interpretations and western food, providing an excellent choice - all the food was very tasty, well presented and good value. Visit here, you will not be disappointed.

Visited this restaurant due to great comments made on trip advisor and out of the 7 restaurants we visited this was my favourite. We had starter, main course and desert and at last I had a lovely glass of wine!!! I had ribs for my main course and they were so succulent the meat just fell off the bones. My fiancé had stuffed chicken breast and again was cooked to perfection.
Our waitress was friendly and apologized for the wait for food ( we didn't have to wait long at all ) again was probably the quickest we got served food!!!
We had a seat outside overlooking the pool which was lovely.
Walked back to our hotel along the beach we were staying at the Salinda about a 20 min stroll back.

The restaurant is lovely and staff very pleasant and attentive. The food is very well presented, but taste is slightly undewhelming and a little bland.
