My boyfriend and I stayed her for three nights on the last leg of our Vietnam trip. We had no idea what to expect and were blown away. The rooms are well-maintained and large with comfy beds. The staff is outrageously nice and helpful. The pool and beach were ideal for relaxing. The food and cocktails were great. We wished we could have stayed longer. Plus, they rent out motorbikes so it's easy to explore the city.

Pick-up service from the ferry-pier went smooth, even though its a 20$ by contacting the hotel you are relieved of all the hazzle by the random taxi/tuktuk-drivers trying to get your attention and your money.

Arriving at the hotel to a warm welcome and hospitality. The room was of a very good standard, quite nice and clean with a private balcony overlooking the property, restaurant and the sea. The resort is at the beach, so it's up to you whether you want to stay by the pool or have fun in the waves.
Very good food and service at the Spice restaurant at the hotel.
If you want to have a walk to the closest shops and restaurants, you'll find these 5 minutes away up the street (also try out Rory's beach bar/restaurant in the evening, follow the beach 300m to the south).

The staff were so polite and forthcoming, doing the most to make the guests feel comfortable in every way and they really made a good impression. Also they would help you or even go (...."the extra mile") with you if you needed help to get something from the pharmacy (as we did). Good English speaking skills were also noticeable.

Also worth mentioning is that this resort also works a bit harder to preserve the natural resources, such as growing its own organic garden and having its own well, so the tap water in the rooms are drinkable.

Will absolutely recommend this resort...

Room Tip: 117, second floor, partly ocean view

The Cassia Cottage resort's used to be French peppercorn farm. Hence now the design's pretty much like the colonial group of buildings. Cool white and chill feeling!
The design - blanc thick walls with clay tile is quite friendly, brought to guests the feeling of countryside cottage but at the same time with its neat straight shape of building, they got the lux. The resort's under reconstruction, so we were not able to have the beach view for ourself, but I believe they are changing for good.

Breakfast was quite nice. Western would love to have their croissant, coffee. The highlight is selection of homemade jam and cereal. Egg station's nice. They got the omelet right. Free cocktail & non-alcohol drink for kid from 5-6 every afternoon at the resto and around the pool is great.
Rooms are stunning design. Enough amount of wooden and bamboo feature is brought into our roon-garden view. Intimating blind folder between bathroom and the bed would be fun for couple:3. They supply electronic zap for anti-insect in room since they eco-friendly did not spray the room. But the bed should also have been ant-free. Their minus point:(
Service 's great. Restaurant staffs are instructive and helpful. Countless smiles. I will come back to stay in this stunning yet chill ‘cottage’ again.
tip: if you go with garden view, choose the room down stair and garden kind-of-feeling, up stair for the beach view

We had a wonderful 5 night stay and love Cassia for the many reasons already mentioned in other reviews.
However, I must say that, even though the concept of an organic garden as the setting
for this resort is original, I sometimes had the feeling of living in the middle of a nursery
rather than a beautiful garden. I understand that the setting reflects the passion of the owner, but it should not be a reason for a general state of untidiness on the grounds that could be unattractive and distracting.
I will come back for the comfortable rooms, the gorgeous swimming pool and the very
endearing staff. Thanks, Cassia.

Organic garden noted
Extensive companion planting is about to take place but the main garden in the modern part also gives the garden good soil structure for in 1 or 2 year time as the modern garden is very young
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay
Next time I hope you can pick your own banana off the tree as you walk to breakfast
