An excellent all inclusive resort! My wife and I spent 6 nights at Cocobay and loved every minute of it. We had a sea view cottage that was just perfect. The food was great, drinks were even better. The night time bartender Oriel is great! The rest of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel grounds are very well kept, our cottage was very clean and looked freshly painted, the new infinity pool by the beach is awesome (not shown on their website yet, just opened earlier this year). The beach is excellent as well, very private and not crowded with people from other resorts. The weather was perfect, ocean was warm, no bugs, no children, nice breeze at night. We would definitely go back to Cocobay again, really had a great time!! Thanks to O'Neal and his staff!

My boyfriend and I recently returned from a 5 night trip to Cocobay. I must say that Cocobay far exceeded our expectations! The resort is small but beautiful with two infinity pools both with breathtaking views of the ocean. One is brand new with a large lounge area and its own bar. This pool is also just steps from the beach which is also very nice. The staff at Cocobay is wonderful, all so pleasant and friendly from the bar/wait staff, housekeeping, front desk, to the manager O'Neal. If you have any problems or questions, O'Neal is the man to see. He is fabulous. Any trips or excursions should be planned through the hotel. We did the Lobster Creole cruise which was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend it if you are looking to leave the resort for the day, and reasonably priced at $130 per person. Cocobay is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. We did nothing but eat, drink and sit by the pool for three days...and we loved it!!!

Some recommendations; Sheer Rocks restaurant is located on the property but is not included in the all inclusive. The bar is great and we visited it almost nightly for one or two drinks just for a change of pace. We decided to eat there one night and we were disappointed. The food was much better at the resort. Go to Sheer Rocks for drinks and sunset but save your money and go back to the resort for dinner. The booze was not top quality, but the drinks were strong which you don't usually find at an all inclusive.

Bring your own face cloths as they don't provide these with the towels (if that matters to you). Also, I'd recommend bringing some bug spray. The bugs weren't too bad but I did have some bites on my legs. Definitely not as bad as some reviews made it out to be, although I think November and December is the "buggy" season. If you forget anything don't worry, there is a gift shop at the resort that has almost anything you could possibly need.

Top notch vacation, can't wait to go back!

THE place to chill out, the place to enjoy the sun and the sea, the wonderful views and gardens.
Thank you to all the staff members to be helpful and always present when we needed them! Yes the plunch pool is cool, but so nice just to sit there and cool your feet after a trip to St.John's or an island tour. I specially liked the hammock on the patio!
Food was always fresh and tasty, prepared with lots of local spices, and something for everyone. Plenty of nice fresh drinks at the bar.
There was always a place in the sun (or in the shade) next to one of the 2 pools.

We had no special problem with mosquitos or sand fleas.
But please do not book any taxi, horse ride, snorkel tour or island tour with the guy on the beach. It is a rip off! The hotel does not recommend him either.

We went back for the third time in February - that tells you something! You just feel yourself unwinding as the blue sky and incredibly blue sea meet you. The staff are wonderful, they are very friendly and really want you to enjoy the laid back life style. It is all inclusive with no hidden costs. We particularly like the fact that the evening meal is booked in time slots and then you choose from a menu. Only one night is a buffet. Drinks at the bar are brilliant , from coctails to slush puppies, nothing is too much trouble. The view from our cottage was amazing. Someone used the term 'chabby chic' for the cottages and that kind of fits. its nice that they are separate and therefore very private. We certainly hope to be there again next year!
