we took some food out of the house (it's next to Naturalist Beach Resort) our first days there. Really good but not extraordinary. Try a grab there, close to the beach and bring some time for the sitting.

Thank you for taking the time out to leave your feedback. We appreciate it.

NB: All our food are fresh, simple, full of flavors and locally grown .Globally this kind of food is labelled as organic with a price tag through the roof. I think offering locally grown , freshly cooked, tasty food is extraordinary :) Cheers

As if Castara itself wasn't beautiful enough, it's also home to this gem of a restaurant. Don't expect any gimmicks or tricks to try and draw people in to this place, it doesn't need them. It has grown in reputation over 14 years based on the food and service alone and has never even had the need to hold an alcohol licence (BYOB if required, but they do serve soft drinks). On the surface the restaurant seems simple, and it is, but that allows them to focus on the high standard of food they serve up each and every night. We went twice during our stay and each time it was out of this world. One thing we had noticed in Tobago is the choice of fresh food coupled with amazing flavours and this restaurant combines the two very well indeed. Add to that the amazingly friendly owners who added to the fantastic experience by treating you as a friend, as did pretty much everyone in Castara. A truly wonderful restaurant to visit in a simply amazing location on the beach. Don't stay in the south of the island. Venture north to find the true Tobago with gems like this to find.

Came here for dinner during low season. Menu is listed on the board. Mains are 110TT, appetizers around 60TT. The plates are very well put together - good mix of veggies, starch and meat. We had the wings (good), goat curry (great flavors, but meat a bit overcooked/well done for our taste), grilled fish (good, chocolate cake (great). Local couple cooking and serving - authentic slow food experience with great flavors. Would come back here!

Restaurant owners Vera and Christmas are the loveliest, hardest working restaurateurs, producing solid, honest meals with the best rosemary roast potatoes you could ask for. Their grandchildren can sometimes be heard practicing their steel drums in their nearby house, and other family members help out on busy nights. Try the Maihi- Maihi fish, or the pineapple-roasted bbq pork. Real feel-good food. And bring your own beer. Very relaxed. Thank you for several lovely meals, and see you next time.

Small restaurant on the beach, the sound of lapping waves next to you as goat is served to your table! You here yet?!
A small menu of fresh food within a byob 1 room restaurant is just the ticket.
No frills, just simple good food, served with a smile as you take it all in.
It was an experience plus dinner, that’s all you need really. Great staff to help you enjoy your evening of eating great food with friends. Enjoy!
